Caller ID said "charity call" - I've been getting multiple scam/spam calls per day, so this one is just another in a long line I'm sure

showed up as charity call.  I had do not disturb on so never heard it ring, and they didn't leave a message.   I've been getting a lot of "charity calls" from other numbers too.  If you don't leave a message, you get BLOCKED.

February 20, 2026 -  I keep getting calls from different numbers that show up in my call history as "Charity" but a message is never left.  TODAY the number associated with the call was +1-866-482-0957 and I blocked it; HOWEVER, blocking NEVER does any good because the caller switches numbers.  I have received NUMEROUS CALLS from "CHARITY" in the last month or so and I'VE BLOCKED EVERY NUMBER EVERY TIME so although I know blocking does NOT help, I decided to report today's last number "Charity" used to call my phone.  It's VERY FRUSTRATING not being able to stop these calls so I have resorted to keeping my phone set to Do Not Disturb.  Fortunately, I can do that because I don't don't get many legit calls and I NEVER answer the phone to unknown callers anyway but it's still annoying having to change certain business contact's status to Favorites when I am expecting a call and then removing from Favorites.
