Called the number back just now and it is Discover Card contacting me about "a product or service they're offering."

It called on 8:02 pm.

I think they want to steal about the Discover Card.

Kept getting calls from 866-482-1197. I never answered it because the Caller ID indicates "Toll Free number". When I called back on the number it turned out to a promotion being made by the DIscover card.

I have my VoIP set to forward this call back to the same number.  Wonder when they will stop calling them selves. LOL

caller states he is discover card and asks for me.  when i say yes he does not respond with anything.  i called number and recording states it is discover card and they were calling about a product if interested continue call. i hung up

Got call 2/10/09 6:40 pm.  Foreign voice couldn't pronounce my name. Hung up on me.  I am on the DO NOT CALL list.

they call once a day at different times.

They called me today to let me know I had a good credit history with Discover Card and that I had the ability to postpone a payment if necessary due to medical reasons.

We do not use Discover Card and have not had a balance with them for 10 years. Caller could not pronounce my wife's name - we are on a do not call list too.

However - all I did was let him talk - he explained the reason for the call and never asked for any information - then he thanked me and hung up.

I have no idea if the call was legit or not but am very suspicions

We have been getting these call off and on again for a month. I just called back and spoke to a person who answered "Discover Card". I told them to remove my phone number and not to call again. The woman took my number and said we would not receive any more phone calls.....we'll see.....

I got a call from this number today. They did leave a message, but it was all in Spanish..My message on my answering machine is in English, what were they thinking?

Stop calling 208-267-8984- noone named Douglas is at this number these nuisance calls come at all hours of the day and night

How do you set the VolP?  I would like to know.

I have received 11 calls from this number in 3 days. I called the number and and it was Discover offering products or services. They called again today so I answered it. I chewed them out for the excessive calls. I think 11 calls in 3 days is very excessive.

I use *63 for Charter Communications phone and then it prompts you to dial the number you want forwarded and then the number you want it forwarded to.

Annoying,called 5 times yesterday 3 times today so far and its only 11:00 am. I havent used discover card since 1990! I have called them and cancelled this card several times in the past 10 years, yet the cards and the calls still keep coming.If you dont speak english,dont call.

I got a call from this number and I assume they didn't know the voicemail was recording. Got 42 seconds of random laughter, chatter, background noise. If it's really Discover it is hardly professional!

This call comes in daily to my home...I have never answered it.  Very annoying.
