this number calls everyday i have tried answering a few times n they always hang up they never leave a message and its getting annoying!!!!!!!!!

I've been getting an assortment of calls from 866 numbers like this. Every time I try to call them back, all I get is a busy signal. Does anyone know where the calls are coming from?

this number keeps calling me in the morning...very annoying, never leaves a msg and is busy when i try to call back....grrrrr

thing called wife's cell 5 times on Sat the 5th.  She ansd the last -- they asked for a person (she forgets, not her) with a "great offer".  They asked if it was ### .. our number .. she said yes but not the person.  Well, would SHE be interested?  She said no and hung up.

Said I qualified becausE I have a visa and mastercard.  They asked which one I liked better.  They said I was entered in a contest.  The guy was very kind and asked a lot of survey questions, a lot of which seemed harmless like if I use coupons or not.  He had a great deal on magazines.  It was a nice offer but I'm very suspicious about these calls.  The existing address he had on file is my current address, which is not connected with my credit cards.  I've only lived here for a couple of months and I only list this address for job applications and resumes and such.  I have applications that exist online, too.  So they have to have read through those because that address is not listed anywhere else.  I don't know, I'm just guessing.  I tried calling back, but got a buzy tone.

I've been getting the same phone call. Just started. Same scenario. I got 2 phone calls today from this number, and after the 2nd time I got the busy signal. Time to find out how to sue for illegal marketing/harassment. Anyone?

So sick of this phone call been going on for 3 days now at first i didn't answer i've answered several time the result is always the same phone hangs up try to call it back and i get a busy signal getting very sick of this

this number has called myself and my husband a number of times. the first time i told them i wanted to be taken off their calling list when they said i had been selected....the next time they called my husband and he listened to their crap and they tried to sell him magazines for 60 months. if you buy into this then you can win a trip to australia or africa or something like that. to me this just seems like one of these scam things....you just cant trust anyone these days

As aboe I receied a call from a sales perso saying she had good deals o magazines and wanted to enter me for a sweepstakes, she did not have my name as I am the card holder but my daughter's whom is 12 years old, I am very suspicious and will call the better busiess bureau if I receie any additional calls.

I recieved info on 09 June that on 10 June (2008):
"all cell phone numbers are being released to Telemarketing companies and you will start to receive sale Calls."

888-382-1222 is the national DO NOT CALL list. It only takes a minute and removes you from telemarketing lists for five (5) years. You must call from the phone you want blocked.

hey i got a call from this number on my cell. they asked for some females name. I said, "you must have the wrong number." and they replied with,"oh shes not there, well whats your name? well, you were entered in this sweepstakes too." He said," Let me ask if you are a Visa card holder..." At this point i had to go anyway. I think he was trying to scam me out of card information. whish i had more time to get his i would have reported it. I DONT HAVE MUCH TIME, BUT IF SOMEONE IS AS UPSET AS I WAS TO SEE SOMEONE SCAMMING THEM, I WISH THAT THEY WOULD TRY TO REPORT THEM TO SOMEONE! thanks, thats all the info i have.

Recieved the call three times on July 11th, answered it the last time.

Some [***] about a sweepstakes and so forth, already read up on it, told them I already knew what they wanted and told them I wasn't interested in recieving anymore calls.

Go with the 1-888-382-1222 number. If you don't want the losers calling your cell again.

i get this call everyday too and no one answers

I have been getting calls for the last two days from that same number but I have never answered. They even called me as early as 6am and as late as 10pm.

Yes, I have been getting the calls from the same number.  Just started 3 wks ago and they call like 5 times a day. Hang up on you and you try to call back and it's busy.

Get calls up to 5 times a day don't matter what time it is.  They hang up on you and you try to call this number back and it's busy.

this number calls me everyday at least 5 times. they call over and over, i answer they hang up, i call back its a busy tone. there is only one thing u can do and that is call your phone service and cancel all 1-800 numbers, so they cant call you. IF THEY ANSWER DON'T GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION!!!!!
