taped recording of Brian from Warranty Activation Department no name of firm  trying to sell extended warranty for motor vehicle

Call came to my desk at work. "YOUR AUTO WARRANTY IS ABOUT TO EXPIRE! ACT NOW TO CONTINUE YOUR COVERAGE!... then the instruction, "to speak to a rep press one" so I pressed 1 and was put on music on hold...after about a minute a very loud woman came on who would best be described as "high-high pressure".

I asked her what was the name of the company, she answered "Warranty Activation Department", I said, no, the name of the company, "Warranty  Service Company", I said, where are you calling from, "a regional call center". So I asked, "where is your company headquartered, she said, "a regional call center". I then said that the number she had called is on the do not call registry, she actually responded, "That doesn't apply to us."

"Well, it does apply, I responded." to which she responded by hanging up.
