Left a message in my answer machine. Ask me to call back ASAP for claiming a prize.

I received a message from the same number - said I was a "finalist" for a Ford Explorer or a Cadillac Escalade.  I didn't enter a drawing for either!

I, too, am a "finalist" for the Explorer or Escalade.  Same number also.  The guy's name (from the VM message) is "Jason Lee" (yeah, right) at extension 100.  What a scam....

I recieved a voice message from Jason Lee claiming that I too was a finalist for a Ford Explorer or Cadillac Escalade. I was told to call 866-487-3280 ex 100 immediatly to claim my prize. I never entered a drawing and "Jason" did not ask for me by name.
Why can't the FBI sting this scam operation?

I got the EXACT same message last night...definitely seems like some kind of scam.

Definitely a scam. Their caller ID's are even coming up as "Midwest Funding Coporation", in some instances.

I had the same thing happen.

They claim that if you go to 2101 Wisconsin Ave, Washington, DC 20007 at 8pm on August 29th, that you are guaranteed to win 1 of 5 prizes.  "The worst you can do is the 32" Television Set"

I received the exact same message 2 nights ago.

yup, they called and left me the same message that I had won an SUV from some contest I had entered and to call 866-487-3280 Ext 100.
So I called and got some guy who when I said that "I'd been called about winning an SUV" and then he asked for my phone number. I said "don't you have caller ID, you already know my number." He said he didn't have it and then asked for my name. At that point I said "put me on your company's DO NOT CALL LIST right now." He then said "we don't have one."  I said that "Under federal law you have to have one and I am asking to be put on it." He hung up on me.  Everyone should file a complaint at the FCC about this company. GOOGLe on FCC DO NOT CALL COMPLAINT and then file the online form 1088 they give you. If we all did this, it would stop and they would be BUSTED!!!

Same as all the others. Received a call from Jason Lee x100 claiming I won a car. Called back to find out what this was about as I have never entered such a contest. I was asked for my phone # & marital status, which was  incorrect. They stated they would get back to me in 48 hours and quickly hung up. Obviously I became very suspicious and googled this number to find I'm not the only one. I then called back to the 866 number and told them to put me on their "do not call list immediately!" and that I know its a scam and I was going to report them to the FCC. They simply replied "ok" and hung up.

Jason Lee just called ME!  Left a message about the Cadillac or Explorer saying "It's in your best interest to call me."  extension 100.  I actually did enter a contest to win a car a couple weeks ago, glad I checked here first.

Just now received the call from "Jason Lee".  I do enter contests on-line. guess that is where they got my info.  Glad I checked first.  Same story, calling regarding the contest you entered to win a new SUV. Call 1-866-487-3280 ext. 100 and ask for Jason Lee.  First clue, the caller ID said Price Claim instead of Prize...

Definitely the same scammer. I got the call just minutes ago. It was regarding the "entry" I had for an SUV. Same contact info, Jason Lee. xt 100.

Fortunately.... I'm on the Do Not Call registry. Reporting that number made my day :) I hope they burn.

Got message at 5:16 pm from Jason Lee at x100 saying it would be in "your best interest to return the call."

Returned call this evening and after some fumbling was transferred to Dale at x115. He didn't have my name or number, but I stupidly gave my number to him. Same deal as above - He said I was a finalist for 4 prizes (Ford Explorer SUV or Cadillac something, $25,000 cash, 7-night FL/Bahama vacation, or 27" high-def TV) from entering a contest as long as a year ago (which must cover them, since I didn't remember it but do sometimes enter contests. No mention of it being online, though). Asked to confirm what I checked off on the form -- that I was single, over 21, and made more than $40,000. I asked who the company was -- Global Escapes, "a multimillion dollar travel company that was opening a new office in Columbia, MD." To claim my prize, I had to bring my claim # and listen to a 90-minute presentation. All attendees (even if more than 4 people) would win one of the 4 prizes because there were multiple scratch offs with the prizes (except for the car). Address for event on Sept. 15 or 15 is 9710 Patuxent Woods Drive, #b, Columbia, MD. I said I might consider it if I could find the company's name on the Internet. I did, but glad I checked this, too.

well i actually attended one of their contest in Northbrook and i won a t.v. so maybe they aren't a scam!! I stayed for the whole presentation and scratched my ticket and got 1 of the prizes i was guareented and believe it or not i just blew the tube in my t.v. So Jason called me right on time.

I actually did call back and the guy on the phone told me that david lee was on a smoke break. When he couldnt find my name in the system he asked for my phone number i stupidly gave it to him and also asked me to confirm what bracket my income 25-40 or more than. But when i asked what company is sponsoring the contest he told me VRG. I googled that and someone had posted a scam message on scams.com about the same company
