I am sure this one of a hundred extensions (they have a lot of 866 numbers) from NBC Law firm, debt collectors on a debt long passed the 3 year statute of limitations. This credit card was from 1999. No message.  If you talk to them just tell them the statute of limitations has run out on this debt you are trying to collect so please take me off your list.

Calls and when you answer they hang up...i called then back and instead of answering and saying the name of the company they just said my name and nothing else so they must have a good caller id.....i said who is this and the lady hung up....still have no clue who the company is but they call everyday!

Like A.F. I'm getting daily calls from this number.  When you answer you get three beeps then a hang up.  It,s possible it from a debt collector as my phone # is from a previous owner who I had recieved numerous calls for from credit agencies when i first got my new phone #.

These idiots called me at night, long past the time when they should be allowed to bother people! I am sick to death of these calls and am going to be changing my number real soon and it will be unlisted!

Called and leaves no message.  Came here to check and see if anyone knew anything.  Sounds suspicious.  I used to get calls similar to this from a very heavy handed collection agency during the Bush years for old Ed loans that were taken care of but they kept calling...idiots, not sure it is same but sounds familiar. Company was called Porfoilio out of Virginia.  

Another sight I check on today had this number out of Inida.

Called me tonight at 9:30pm. Didnt leave a message. Called back from a different phone. Rang 3 times and said my name, not their company name. Hung up. Dont know what they want and dont want to find out from the way they treat people. And take my phone off your list!

Hospital collections and they have a ton of numbers!!!!!

I get phone calls from this number and many other 866 numbers and they call all hours of the day and night! I can never get them to tell me who they are or what company they are with. But it keeps waking my children and I'm sick of it!

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone..  You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.

If this is a Debt collector as indicated in several posts above, they do not fall under the DNC. They fall under the FDCPA laws.
