I received a "no caller ID" that left this phone number as a call back number that stated they were with my local county processing service trying to deliver a summons.  When I returned the call, they stated they were a law firm (never mentioned the name of the firm) and tried to talk about my summons (which I never received).  Seems very fishy, but awaiting to see if a summons really appears.

They called and said they had a summons to serve me. But it was about a credit card balance from 15 years ago.  Way way beyond statute of limitations!

Called from a blocked number, said I have a summons and need me to call back. It is a scam.

I called 2 times to return thier call. Second time i talked to the same person pretending to be the front desk, then put me on hold and answered the call. Said i had to appear in court, then said they would get a court date with in 10 days. When the person got an attitude and started to deman why i was avoiding talking to them, i asked why his attitude sucked when im trying to get info. He said, "your credit sucks" and hung up on me. When i called back he answered the phone with out it ringing more than once and  aswered on speaker phone and said he would notate the person i talked to before, but it was clearly the same person. I record all my calls and all three people i talked to was the same person. The creditor they are calling about is well over 15 years old. Its not even on my credit as he said. Its been off my credit for over 6 years.

A supposed law office called and left this number for me to call back.  They answered the phone with the  name of the law office, but said it so quickly that I couldn't get it and did the same when I asked them to repeat it. They said there was a civil case pending against me.  When I called back, they told me paperwork would be delivered this evening.  I called them back and told them it was bullsh*t and they hung up on me.

This number 866-502-9307 called from a blocked number saying they have tried to serve me papers and they were calling within my county. There is no court case listed in any county closes to me. Never said who they were or company processing server name. At the end of the message they said I have been served. Served with what??? A phone call?????

They left a very threatening voice mail on my cell phone as well as my father's answering machine, even though I don't live with my father and we don't share any financial records.  Anyway the voice mail says "there is legal action" being taken against me and I need to call them back at a law firm so I could be served papers for a lawsuit.  I know this is a scam because no lawsuit can be filed over the phone LOL.  So anyway I call them and I hear a guy pick up and it sounds like he's in his living room because I can hear kids in the background LOL.  He answers by saying "law firm" and I know it's really FAKE ha ha ha!  I told him my "case number" and he asks me "you do know about the lawsuit against you, right?" and I say "yeah sure" and he says "OK well have a nice day" in a very smarmy tone of voice and hangs up !!  These are illegal SCAMMERS --- IGNORE THEM !!

They called my voicemail and said I had pending legal action being taken against me in the county where I live and gave me a case number to reference.  So I called their number and they told me my Social Security number which creeped me out.  I asked for the court district name and docket number of the lawsuit being filed against me and the guy on the other end started stuttering and fumbing his words like he didnt expect someone like me to know about lawsuits and how they work.  He just sighed and said "we'll see you in court" and hung up on me. These are so-called "vulture collectors" AVOID !!

They called me several times, including at my place of employment, leaving threatening messages about a summons and legal action. Someone by the name of Regina said ended the call with "You have been served". Scammers, Debt collectors

I just recieved a call from 866 502 9804, sounding like they were trying to deliver legal paperwork and couldn't reach me. First saying my current address and then a previous one from 6 years ago. I told them that was the correct one. She wanted to confirm that I would be there to recieve it. I have checked there are no court issues that concerns me. When it rang, the number came up restricted.

They called my sister in a completely different state and gave her the bull crap of a court document and the 866 502 9304. So she gave me the info I called. It was for a company called Cash Advance. Um no such company. And they had my social and she said she had my credit report but this was no longer on the credit report. I asked for them to send me a copy of the paperwork and was told no they would have it at the court date. I would be served on Monday. Yah, I knew right then it was a Scam. Even more so when they told me I couldn’t deal with the company and then they tried to get money out of me.

Same deal as above - called my employer with some bs about having to serve me papers, but gave no information about who they were, etc.  Call the FCC and report these pieces of crap.

All these complaints happens within two weeks of each other. I cannot find any information on this company at all. All these scenarios happened to me as well. They won't give me any information about the debt, previous address and the supposed debt that is from 10 years ago from some check cashing facility. We have lived at our address for over a decade. Bought a house 2.5 yes ago. Underwriters made us clean up all our debt before they would sign off on the house. Their claim of debt is no where on our credit. This is the first I'm hearing of this debt. Her told me the original debt was 380.00 bit with interest its "a little over 1100.00". Ironically, I just opened up a Best buy account just two weeks ago. Now all the sudden I'm in debt?  Anyone else open a line of credit with BEST BUY or any merchants affiliated with Citi Bank?
