Received a call from this number stating there are two fraud cases against me. Other sites say this number calls them and says the same thing. I tried calling back and got put on hold immediately. I hung up. It's most likely a fraud call.

Same exact thing as what happened to Pablo. Unknown caller (no company or name given - this is clue #1) left me a recorded VM asking to call back re: 2 cases of fraud. Likely going to ask for your credit card info - PROTECT YOUR IDENTITY!!!

Received call where they claimed 2 cases of financial fraud where I was beingcharged with by the prosecutor and needed my social.  lol- that was a dead give away

Just received the same call left message stating two fraud on financial etc... And if I don't get it straightened it out I will be prosecuted by the county

Received a call from this number stating I had a case with their office for an attempt to defraud a financial institution. The guy repeatedly stated that I had taken out a payday loan for over $2,000 and they needed it taken care of today or there would be a civil matter filed with my county.  I asked him for confirmation of the information he stated to me and requested it in writing.  He stated that they have sent information several times to my home address and rattled off the address.  I informed him that I had just moved to that residence and there is no way they have tried to send me information to that location.  I informed him that once I receive the paperwork on the case I would be in contact with my attorney to validate the information and the debt.  I requested the information be emailed to me by the end of business yesterday, however, that NEVER happened.  He wanted me to verify my social and I told him that if he had the paperwork as he claims then I would not need to verify the social.  After about 15 mins, I informed him that I have searched the phone number that I was calling and that all of the information returned showed it was a scam.  He immediately stated that was incorrect and hung up the phone.

They called asked for no name, just stated that there was a cases issued of fraud filed against me, didn't call me by  just fraud was committed from a financial, very weird, I've had calls like this before trying get me to give out my back account and that I was going to be arrested, ain't this something you try to be honest someone or something always trying scare you for something you haven't done.

I also received a call from this number, but at work number and on my cell saying the same. "There re two pending financial fraud cases against me" When I called back the line just hung up and beeped.  Its a fraud and a scam call!  DON'T PICK UP!

This is a fruad call.  First one that I didn't get a robo call from, but a scam anyway.

Got a call from this number...a woman left a voice mail saying I had 2 cases of financial fraud filed against me.  I called back, a woman answered, put me on hold right away and then a guy picked up.  He said that I had taken out a payday loan back in 2011 yada yada yada.  I have never taken out a payday loan so I knew this was a scam.  Not to mention the fact that he never identified what company he was from.  The scary part was that he knew the last 4 digits of my social and my mom and sisters name.

Don't let them scare you, they have nothing on you. They call here sometimes and pretend to be the IRS or a debt collector.

Those types of matters are done in person or by registered mail from a legitimate place of business and not over the phone. A stranger calling to ask for personal information is a red flag, an indication that they are scum running a scam.

But stupid people in Nigeria sitting in an old shack for an office don't understand how it works in the U.S. and think they can get people's credit card or banking info over the phone just by calling and asking. Don't talk to them. Their crazy. Just don't answer the phone or block their numbers.

But, don't be upset. Laugh it off. They're a joke. Ha-ha.

For Nigerian scammers this is a real job, at least to them. Block their number or don't answer. Don't talk to them. They're psychos.

It was a recording, in two separate messages, two days apart, that I am being forewarned about a fraud case that I (or the other residents here) supposedly committed.

This is just too funny... imagine fraudsters calling people about fraudulent activity that they didn't commit. How hilarious is that?

The end of this ridiculous recorded message said, "Please return this call at 866-503-3080 and have your Social Security information available"....yeah, right .... so funny that we are all LOL and can hardly type this.

I think maybe they do this because the elderly, and maybe also immigrants who have recently received a SS #, fall for it and maybe out of every hundred or so calls they get a hit. Otherwise, it's too damn funny. Fraudsters calling law-abiding citizens about a fraud they didn't commit... and even if they did, no one is "forewarned" over the phone. LMAO. Come get us .... locked & loaded a * * holes.

I just got the same call you guys did. They left a vmail - the same one described here several dozen times (nearly word for word - makes me wonder if it was a well-done recording).

I'm tempted to call them back and give them the name and ss# of someone I don't like, just for kicks - I have an old client that stiffed me for $45k, for instance (as they say, "...two birds...")
