Linda Williams claiming that federal student loan payments have changed and to discuss payment options. Asked to reference 90933

Got the same call as Jim above. Linda Williams calling re: student loan and fed changes. She left ref #90933 also. She didn't state the name of the person she was trying to reach. So, I don't know which of the 100 people here it applies to.

Same exact message received from "Linda Williams." No student loans here, so a complete scam.  Good recording though: I nearly called "her" back to say she had the wrong number :-)

Same message as everyone else from "Linda Williams" looking to discuss my "Federal Loan repayment options in light of new changes". Reference 90933. Solid scam. What is interesting is she gave this number 866-503-644 to call back to...but the call I received came through from Yazoo City, MS phone number 662-716-8327.

I got the same call (vm), and it asked me to reference the *EXACT SAME REFERENCE #*  How convenient!  ;-)

I received the same phone call as others...Linda Williams calling about repayment options on my federal student loan.  She asks me to call 866-503-6446, but the call originated from +1(971)338-7437 in Woodburn, OR.  She did not give a company name.

Left a voice mail about changes to my student loan. This is 100% a scam. I don't have any student loans.

Same as everyone else, same person, same reference number and same message even though never had a federal tuition loan.  She sounds so nice and credible and must be an actress.  Total scam.

got the same message but  caller ID was from Colorado 970-718-0280 and to call her about my student loans that I don't have.

Same as everyone above.  "Linda Williams" called regarding repayment options for our non-existent federal student loan.  Same phone number (866-503-6446) and reference number (90933) as everyone else.  Caller ID says it is a California call 805-900-6361.  I let the recorder get it and as others have said, it is either a good actress or a VERY good recording.

Retrieved this message yesterday from Linda Williams calling about changes to my federal student loan. Asked that I call back and use reference number 90933. Sounds legit, but it obviously is not. The call-back number, 866-503-6446, is inoperable.

Having two kids who have student loans, I answered the call halfway through the message to see who she was referencing. "Linda Williams" continue to speak and did not acknowledge me saying hello and answering the call. Total pre-recorded message and I suspect is scam.

Just got the exact same message and typed the number in google before calling and found this thread. Quite suspicious as I have no loans.

Well Linda has been quite busy. I am a student of life and as such, have no had to take out a loan for that :)  LOL!

Same exact message and reference number. There are no federal student loans in my name. Call was coming from Las Cruces, NM.  I googled the return number out of curiosity and found this thread.
