Received message to call when I tried to log into Wells Fargo on-line. When I called I was asked for acct # and pin.   Do not enter!

Call the correct phone number for Wells Fargo on the back of your debit or credit card.

Came up on my walls Fargo app after an update

this message poped up when trying to log onto my online account when called the number it asked for account number and pin . which i did not put in many have complained this is phising scam ...

The Wells Fargo app apparently has a glitch where this number comes up saying you have to call to unsuspend your account. DO NOT CALL. Complete scam. Looked the phone number up and called the REAL Wells Fargo to fix all the damage they did to my account. Delete the app.

If you login from your Wells Fargo account from too many different locations, they will lock your account. This happens to me constantly because I always use a VPN. This is the number that Wells Fargo provides you to get everything sorted out. It's definitely legitimate. If you have any concerns about this number, you should call the main Wells Fargo number, but I assure you if you ask them about this number, they will confirm its authenticity.

This number came up on a LINK when I tried to do Wells Fargo text banking. The message said my account was suspended to call the number to reset login and psswd. NEVER click on a link for Wells Fargo. When I realized I'd been scammed I called WF and reset with their FRAUD department, luckily I caught it!!! WE said all banks are having this problem.
