called here asking for someone who doesn't live here. a neighbor might have a similar name. Surely they're not trying to get them via calling neighbors??

Some collectors call the neighbors to ask questions about the whereabouts of the debtor or to get personal information such as the type and source of employment etc. This is a lesson to all, if you don't have to reveal information for a loan, don't reveal any. Only share information you absolutely have to provide to the creditor and nothing else. Ask them if you really need it because you are concerned about identity theft.

They call and call and call....probably need to change phone number!
