I have experienced the exact same thing.  It is very annoying.

I suspect that it is a debt collector. Some loser people pulled my number out of their ear and everytime they don't pay their bills i get calls from collection agencies for them. I know they live in the same town because i ordered pizza when we moved to town and got their address. I don't think it is anything more than collectors. I just wish they would believe me when i say "i'm not them".

Well I am sending my letter out today.  They are allowed to call me one more time to tell me they are not going to call again.  If they call again I will have them in court.  They have been calling me for over a year and are asking for the wrong person.

They have a website.  I have contacted all the higher up people on the page.  They still call me.  I contacted the FTC.  They told me how to handle this.  I hope to see them in court.

They are a low class no account law breaking company. Cetified letters via the postal service will not stop them. They are in violation of credit statues. They will call you. This is illegal. If you are having problems with them. You can take them to court. Send them a certified letter not to call your number. Insure it is certified/return receipt. Save their recorded messages when they call. File a lawsuit against them for 1000.00 plus court costs. Take your certified letter and recorded messages to court and win a legal judgement against them.  From a former credit manager.

I have received over 15-20 calls from this number in the last month. They hang up everytime...very annoying.

Number just calls my cell.  If I answer no ones says anything

I keep recieving phones calls from this number.like every day not only my line but each line on my account.

The call is about a resoulution and an identification number to call with another telephone number to call.

They can't be on the level, I keep receiving calls from them and wont"hold" till a live person gets to me. They refuse to leave a message on my  voice mail. I used a fax line to "return their call" as requested, and got a menu of so called "officers" of the company. Just in case anyone else is peeved enough as I am, here is their website:

have received calls from this number repeatly, when we answer the phone, there is no response. this is quite irritating.

Bull----! they are hiding from answering my calls. Incorrect, inaccurate and under investigation. Will be closed soon ( again) and pop up under another name.

I get recorded calls from this number several times each week.  I would like to have it stopped.

You are correct on your information and web site.  We received a call from 1-866-505-7419 and no message, which is the company mention in your comment.  We are on the "No-Call List" which I think it is a joke not only for the Federal and for State Government---because nothing is ever done to these companies.  The State of North Caroline is a big joke---you get a letter from them telling you that they contact the Company and nothing is done to them.  For violating the “No Call Law.”  The best thing is the answering machine for these unwanted calls...The Toll free number beyond to Receivable Solutions, 4700 Forest DR, Suite 107 Columbia, SC 29206 is right on the home page very bottom.   How they get your phone is beyond me, especially when your number is private...

This website is a good place to share information.  By searching for a phone number you might be able to find out who called you.  Is it a legitimate debt collector, a scammer, a charity, etc.  That may give you the information you need to fight back.  If you have information posting here lets you share it with your pest's next victim, helping that victim.

There is no such thing as a new number. Your new number is someone else's old number.  It may come with the previous number's pests.

Every phone number is in the pattern AAA-EEE-XXXX.  Robo-dialers can be set to call every number in an exchange.  Robo-dialers are illegal, but some people choose not to obey that law.
