Sent text about gift card seems like phishing scam

Got a text to claim $250 Walmart voucher. Is that the best you can come up with.. U scam artist. Shame on those who fall for this.

I got a text about $250.00 walmart. This is nothing but a big scam
The number you have to call for the card is 517-219-5488

Yeah, big scam! (Surprise!)  All you have to do is pay them $3.99 a WEEK for some magazine(I never heard of) in order to get a $250.00 Walmart VOUCHER!!!  [***] I say!

Sent text saying I had a $250 Wal-Mart voucher waiting from 985-412-0453 and to call 866-511-6910.

Okay, I hate to admit this but I fell for it. Now these people have my card info and I am trying to cancel right now as I type. As it turns out, the lady that sold me the magazines neglected to tell me that the order was not "cancel-able" (that's the word she used) which means I didn't agree to the terms and conditions. YES!!!! So she had no choice but to cancel.

The one thing that I hate about the world today is you never know from one phone call, email or text to the next what is real and what isn't. I'm getting so sick and tired of not trusting EVERYBODY. I was hoping that this was the one thing that was real and that's why I went for it.

Thank you all for the very important information. I know now not to call and delete this mess out of my phone.

don`t wast your time ,they mentioned i won a 250.gift card. when they asked,, i said `No` to the magazines.
they hug up on me : )  didn't even say by, lol.

Got a card in the mail after receiving hundreds of phone calls from them. offer of a 250 wal-mart or best buy card .
people don't give things away for free.....obviously... im not bothering with it. just free paper to start a fire. wasted your postage on this guy! my words of advice to you ....start a fire with it.
