they called me at 8am, so i decided to call them back when i was actually awake, it gave no company name but went straight to a machine saying "thank you for calling, please be advised your call may be recorded for quality reasons".

it's Walmart Mastercard

phoned me twice in the last 2 days... no idea why.

If it's Walmart Mastercard, STOP!!! I don't have any credit card...

I DON'T think it's Wal mart.... I think it's a scam from the phone company...cost you$ to have #'s blocked. Why can't the phone companies do something about this...they should know who's doing it. I just googling the#..... I found out this is a huge problem with many people all over the Country. What can i do to make this # stop calling ...anyone?

This # calls EVERY day except Sundays (it's illegal) up to 10 times a day!!!! When I call back it only gives a recording saying "thank-you for calling, this call may be recorded for quality assurance...please hold for the next available operator".... or when I call after hours it gives a recording that they are closed. Either way, it does not say who they are!!! Extremely annoying, and if by chance we do get a person, they ask for someone who does not live here.When we tell them, they say sorry, but KEEP ON CALLING ANYWAY- EVERY DAY. They do not stop no matter what you say...telephone harassment and bullies!!!

They just called here at nine in the morning,never answered it. Let the machine pick it up,but no body talked. I called back and all l got with a recorded saying ( this call is being recorded for quality assurance..please hold for the next operater ).. I stopped the call. I was not going stay on the line to be harassed by some bully. If a bully get's on the my phone, l yell and totally swear at them,they hang up quite. I don't know if the law can do anything about these number's. No caller ID show up on my phone display. I really hate when l get call's like that.

I just got a call back from the 1-866-512-5091 number and it is Walmart. They said l owed them money on a card that was cancelled. The payment history show's that all the payment's were made though on line banking. What the hell is Walmart playing at ?  No disrespect, but,the lady had a southern accent. She was a bit rude.

I just got a call from the number 1-866-512-5091, and this number belong's to walmart. I have a walmart card and l let my good friend use it on her vacation. She has all the payment history that show that all the payment's have been made to that ( my ) card. But walmart is still calling saying that none of the payment's were made. In a few day's l will have the LEGAL PROVE in front of my that all the payment's were made to that card. I will be happy to fax that prove to the walmart payment department. That tell's me that somebody at walmart might be a CRIMINAL  and stealing customer payment's. If someone at the walmart payment department who see's the fax first and choose's to rip it up and put it in garbage, that person might be the CRIMINAL or part of a criminal ring. If the harrassing call's continue after l send the fax to walmart of the prove of payment, l will have to see a lawyer about this satuation.

If the call's don't stop, every one of the people who getting call's like this should and need to stand together and take walmart to court. The walmart company need's to lose everything to the people they are harrassing. PERIOD!!

I just checked the number 1-866-512-5091 out on the Walmart website and also the Yellow Page's. Walmart does NOT have the above number listed with them, so the call's are possiblily ILLEGAL!! Yellow pages could not find ANY company that is or was connected to the above number.

The phone number that are connected to Walmart Canada is 1-800-328-0402. The number's for Walmart Financial are the following-1-888-331-6133. You can also call the them ( Walmart Financial ) collect at 1-647-788-2929 !!! Again , l checked out the website. I strong suggest anyone who get's a call from the above number 1-866-512-5091 to call the 1-647-788-2929 .

These people have been calling us. Today finally someone spoke and the lady said she has spoken to this certain person on our phone number. We have owned the same phone number for almost five years now so we know this person was lying.

Extremely annoying and disturbing that someone calls you and does not even reveal their identity. I wish I could report this to the police and open a case of harassment.

I have had this number call me numerous times and say its " so and so " from Walmart credit card collections and that I haven't paid my balance.  HOWEVER I don't own a Walmart Mastercard.  Even more annoying is they give me the name they are calling to speak to, and its never mine BUT always changes - a little odd.  I've asked numerous times for them to stop calling but they just keep calling back asking to speak with someone else. Not sure what's going on.

Alright, I work for Walmart so I'll let you in on a little secret.  Every cashier that gets an approved credit card application, gets 4 dollars added to their paycheque.  Whats stopping me from looking in the phone book, random page, random name, and phone number?  Thats all I need.  The cashiers are strapped for cash cause the company cuts hours (tell me one day you've been in the store and you have seen more then 3 cashiers on at a time).  They arent going to look for proof cause every one thats accepted is 4 bucks.  you get 10 apps? 40 bucks?  I'll take it.  scam?  yes.  legal? no.  is anyone going to do anything about it?  no.

You can't process a credit card without proof of citizenship and credit verification. That means you need the driver's license (and the number associated) and an existing credit card.

I am on THE DO NOT CALL list for what it is worth. Big  joke that is. I do not have a Walmart card nor do I want one. Especially when they keep calling. No way to get my business. Next time they call, I'm  using my whistle on them. works well!!!
