My very sweet boyfriend ordered me some things in a catalog for my birthday. We have been waiting for one of the items, as it has been on back order.  He got a yellow/brown UPS-looking notification in his mailbox with a package number and a phone number to call to schedule a pick-up time/day.  This number is (866)-512-7378.  While it looks like it may have been issued from UPS, there is NO actual company name on this "parcel pick-up notice."  I called the number three different times, and was immediately placed on hold for about six minutes and then abruptly hung up on each and every time. I never got to speak to an actual human being.  I of course became quite frustrated (the God-awful hold-music DID NOT help) and decided to Google the phone number in question.  Now I am seeing that there are many others out there who have gotten mixed up with this very same number in one way or another.  What gives??
