Called with no voice and no message

I work late and this guys woke me up with 2nd call with no voice in 2 days.

Called the number back.\
Its VOXDATA, an apparently large telemarketing firm in Toronto & Montreal. Strange thing is that when I called this supposedly toll-free number, the operator informed me it was connecting a long distance call and that charges would apply. I wonder if this is part of the scam somehow, as a pay service, charging people a couple cents/dollars for calling back these dead air calls. When I called the number, a voice message identified the company as VOXDATA and informed me that 'some' company hired them to deliver a courtesy message.... then it hung up.
I looked up the company and called this number instead to request that my number be removed from their calling lists. The live person who answered seemed ready and quite used to taking numbers down for this purpose.

So, these guys probably have oodles of information on any one of us... lets flip the tables a bit and dessiminate their naughty bits.

These guys suggest we call and harass the prez in france... i am a little busy for that kind of mischief to say the least, but at least i will post the link for 'discussion'

this number has called me 6 times in 2 days. it is driving me nuts

so I did call their customer service, and they did take me off the list.  The girl told me it is a system called auto-dial courtesy call.  Most likely it is the bank who are calling you.  And it could very likely be an ad.  How stupid!  

Nobady would pick up a call from a strange number.  Their way to treat that is by ordering a machine to keep calling you without stop until you pick it up???  What kind of nuts!

That number has caled my house 20 times. I fianlly found this webpage called the 1-877-869-3282 that was listed. I actually spoke to someone and they said they would stop calling. Worth trying

Thank you so much for posting that # for Vox Data. I have been receiving these annoying calls every day or every other day. I did call  this # and the  receptionist quicky took my # as I told her that I have been receiving the annoying calls and want them to stop. She automatically took my cell # to remove off the list. We will see now if this works. Considering my service provided wanted to charge me a monthly fee to block calls on my personal cell.

wow! they have been calling me non-stop for almost 2 weeks now. The calls were getting more and more frequent as time passed by, so I caved in and called the 1-877 number. Man! I should have done that sooner! It took 10 seconds and I was off their list. :)

My phone number is unlisted, and I keep getting blank messages on my machine.  If I want to purchase anything it is never over the phone, internet or TV.  the phone is not an advertising device, so stop the phone calls. These companies are only hoping to sucker people into there scams.

I don't wanna answer this kind calls, but it calls me every moring around 10:30am and lasted more than 30 days. really bad.

I just got home from work and my caller ID said 22 calls received, when I reviewed all 22 numbers it was VOXDATA!!!!  They started calling at 9:47 am and the last call received was 4:18 pm (I'm still waiting for the phone to ring again)  HOW DO WE GET RID OF THESE UNWANTED CALLS!

the name is box data and the phone i am using is not under my name and they asked for me so i wanna know who they are

call 1-877-869-3282 for Voxdata to get a real person on the line to remove your number from their list. They make the calls for their clients.

Okay that explains it. Every day I get home from work there's a message with nothing on it and it's always around 9:30 am..it must be Vox!? whats funny is I was thinking of getting a part time job with them - but I would think NOT. Don't want to work for an annoying company. Glad I read this.

I have been receiving calls from this # daily for at least 2 weeks. No message ever kleft. I don't answer unknown area codes ever.

thanks for the toll free number.  They called me 7 times in 2 hours this morning.  On a Saturday.  Give it up.  I called the Toll free number.  The guy was actually quite pleasant and helpful and i asked to be removed from their list and he took down my info and said he would do that.  I guess i'll see in the next few days if the blasted number stops calling me.

Keeps calling at all time of the day, no one on the phone when picked up, get put on hold when you call back.

I called that service centre and asked them to remove my number from the list. But after that, the annoying call came even more frequently. Then, I called the voxdata again, I hope it could take effect this time
