Could not trace this phone number to anything. Does anyone know who this is?

I got about 9 calls today from this number, rang 5 times each time.. i did not answer.. anyone know who it is?

I called them back, it's a call center named VoxData apparently, I stronly suspect another credit card offer or another survey...

This number is displayed on my phone 1 866 512 7542. This person never left a message and never spoke when i answer. I'm receiving  more than 5 calls a day. It's very frustrating !! i can't ever block this number.

that phone number 1-866-512-7542 call at home each day and i am getting tired and sometimes i am doing things very important.

what i do now is any call who try to sell me somthing by phone I stop them speaking and telling them the phone number 866-512-7542 is calling me.  They telling me thats not them but like I said I don't care it's marketing like them so call them after that will see.

We should call that phone all the planet at the same time each day to block or f... their computer

I had the same number on my Phone ID, didnt answered the first time, second time it was someone representing my ISP company. They didnt asked any info, just told me i would receive a new modem for my internet connection cause mine is old, they new my name and my adress aswell. it looked legit. So maybe it a marketing company that pick up contract from different company. I got my new modem now......

If there is a catch, i dont see it yet

I've received two calls from this number, when I answered all I heard was someone tapping on a computer key board. When I called back I found out that it was from Vox Data and I received the call as "a request to make a courtesy call to your telephone"

I have also received a letter from my ISP telling me that I hadn't picked up an e-mail regarding a new modem promotion.

Looks like the two things might be linked. Are Bell Canada subcontracting to Vox Data to make "courtesy calls" to their customers?

they called this morning really early (it's saturday for god's sake).

it was a lady from Bell Canada calling for a survey. I told her to [***] and that calling people early in the morning was rude. she said "alright" or something, hung up and I went back to sleep.

I got several calls from that # too. I often got nothing but a mechanical (or typing)noise
I just phoned VoxData, and asked to be removed from their list.
The woman who answered was very nice. She removed my number.

They called me everyday it get's really annoying

call 1-800-861-9599 and ask them to remove your phone number

first I reached Penny who was rude and failed to tell me that she wasn't allowed to remove my number

then I got Loretta who was much more polite

Je reçois souvent des appels de ce numéro, parfois plusieurs fois par jour, mais je ne réponds pas et on ne laisse pas de message sur ma boîte vocale.  Ca devient agressant.  J'aimerais bien savoir quoi faire pour empêcher ce type d'appels de plus en plus fréquents et dérangeants !!!

J'ai eu le même probleme concernant le numéro 866-512-7542 qui m'appelait 7 à 8 fois par jour chaque jour, et j'ai fait un search sur Google et finalement j'ai trouver un numéro 1-800-861-9599 Vox Data, et c'est un centre d'appel pour des cartes de crédit, j'ai parler avec une personne donc j'ai laisser savoir que j'était frustré et que j'avait l'intention d'impliquer la Police. Alors elle ma transférer à son superviseur (MIKE).
Il m'a dit qu'il enlèverait mon nom sur sa liste d'appel.  Alors maintenant il me reste seulement à savoir si sa va arrêter.  Bonne chance a vous.  John

appelez a 1 800 861 9599.Ils vont retirer votre numero de leur liste.profitez-en pour leur donner de la m....Elle vous dira qu'elle n'est que la réceptionniste.Je lui ai répondu que j'avais trop de morale pour faire une job comme celle-là.

They called and it seemed like a telemarketer (no sound) but no one ever talked to me. I keep calling back and you can talk with someone, so I do the same thing, and after a few seconds I hang up.

I think the number 866-512-7542 belongs to a credit card collecting company.
