Its TCR debt collections....... I dunno the names of the 2 fellows who called my number, but they both sounded very flamboyant.  Maybe its an all new flamboyant angency?!?

as for the collection part....i dont now, nor have i ever owned a credit card and I use money mart to cash my cheques, which eliminates the need for costly bank accounts....in other words, I DONT OWE ANY BANK OR ANYONE MONEY SO STOP [***] CALLING HERE.

K I've been getting calls from this number daily for the past 5 months and my work phone isn't even in my name. But wtf I answer every time but I get no response on the other end. Like not even breathing. Sometimes they hang up right away and other times the line stays open for minutes while My verbal outrage is no doubt recorded for them to listen to later around the water cooler while laughing. Just once I wouldn't mind hearing a foreign mouth breather demand I pay my overdue visa lmao but cmon ppl I've never been more confused. Is this some new tactic used by collectors to break us down so we beg them to take our money? Cause I'm about give them my savings... Not!!!

Total harassment!! Total credit recovery, calls everyday multiple times to collect on a 400.00 remaining car loan from td bank, which we have been making payments on!! Apparently they have 400-500 employees!! Guess that's why they make so many phone calls, but its pure harassment, I wrote letter to them requesting to stop calling, my legal right in Ontario Canada an they totally ignored it an kept in calling every day several times. If it isn't bad enough u can't pay or are slow paying your accounts if your sick an not working like myself but that with this bullying is unbelievable especially when were paying it down some each month, hate to see what these pricks would do to people who owe more than 400.00!!! They need to be stopped its gotten out of hand!! Sure hope everyone of the pricks working there get sick or loose their job an are trying to hang on to everything they've worked hard for get people like them harassing the hell out of them all day multiple times everyday!! Only thing that could be better would be me making the harassing daily multiple calls to them, but I'm a born an raised Canadian, you have to be from a foreign country where we give you the job as taxpayers while true Canadians are out of work, they should at least speak proper English if were gonna give them these jobs on top of being menaces they can't even speak so you can even try to understand them, an people don't like Donald trump? We need him in Canada to stop this insanity an harassment!! [***], give it up!!

They're still calling, now leaving a different voice message with the same number to call back, but now mentioning a name - not anyone we've ever heard of - but if you pick up the phone when they are calling, no one is there.

    Slim replies to Steve

Since you are so knowledgeable, please answer the following questions:

    1. Who are they?  What is their full, legal name?
    2. What is their legal physical address (no box numbers)?
    3. What is the address of their website?
    4. In what states are they licensed?
    5. If you knew who they were, why did you search a phone complaints site for their number?
    6.  Are you absolutely sure they follow FDCPA rules for debt collectors, including snailmailing a Validation Notice within 5 days of the first call?

We eagerly await your reply, the lack of which strongly suggests you are a shill for that phone number.

A recording from someone claiming to be collecting from TD bank, and to call their number.  Forget it.  Why wouldn't a live person be calling unless it's a scam?

So I’ve been receiving this Steve person’s call from TD Canada trust for Total Card recovery. First, I blocked him the first time I heard his call since I don’t own any credit cards. But that was one year ago. He couldn’t call me directly but my voicemail gets piled on from the 866 519 6431. I believe this is a scam. Can someone delete this number!?!?!

Within 40 minutes, I received 4 phone calls from these guys.  I never answer.  They call every day, several times a day.  Today was the worst though.

They called me once every two weeks for a time. Don't remember the guys name. They left a message saying they represent TD Bank etc. I called FCR from their website's phone number and they said they didn't have my number on file.

Silence for two more weeks and I get a call again from this number. I let it got to voicemail, listen to the same spiel, and then called it back. The same guy who called me answered.

    I said:
"I just received a call from this number and I'm not sure what the purpose of the call is."
Him: "Can you give me your name and number?"

I was reluctant to give them info, so I just said
"I'm not giving you anything except my phone number which you already have. I have already called FCR and they have told me there is no reason for me to be receiving a call. I am suspicious that this is a scammer posing as FCR"

The man on the phone said that if I'm not willing to give and information, then that would be all.

I stopped him and decided that I'd give him my first and last name but nothing more. After giving him my name, he asked if I shared the cell number with anyone else; no I don't. After that he said he'd remove my number from the list.

So either it was a mistake/someone used my number and then got into debt (I have worked with drug addicts in the past so it wouldn't surprise me), or the fraudster knew I wasn't gonna play his games.

Either way, I hope that's the last I heard from them.

I called TD to see if this number is associated with them, or if it is a scam.  TD says it is s definite scam, so continue to ignore the repeated calls and recorded messages from this number.  Call the authentic TD toll free number directly if you get a call from this number if you need peace of mind and confirmation that no account of yours at TD bank is in any kind of trouble.

This phone number does not belong to the legitimate Total Credit Recovery agency.  They are instead impersonating them, using this number and various other numbers.  They leave a message that sounds quite official, and even have the audacity to give the actual address of Total Credit Recovery in Ontario in that message.  They count on potential victims not writing to that actual address, or phoning the true number of the real Total Credit Recovery (true phone number will be found on their website).  These scammers are instead hoping that you will either pick up the phone, or call this number back.   Then their goal will be to scam you for your credit card number or your personal identification such as birthday, social insurance number.

I just received a call from 1-866-519-6431…they asked if they were speaking to me by my full name and I said “yes, who am I speaking with?” They said they were trs and calling about a collections I owe with TD bank. I’ve never had an account with TF so I know it’s a scam right away so I simply said “I’ll call the bank myself and inquire to what you just said” then they offered me TD’S number which isn’t TD’S number…I chucked and hung up…I called TD bank and they said I’ve never had an account with them and that it is a scam lmao
