This isn't a scam.  I called the number back and it's Sirius.

The bad Indian accent is because Sirius outsources, like all the other big companies.

We recently let our subscription expire, and even though I've asked them not to call me, they have called 3 out of the last 4 days.  I'm waiting on a better deal.

receive a call nearly daily  for the past 6 days.  Leaves no message.

Just called to "update my information". Interestingly, the caller knew my name. Wouldn't say what service they were offering or why they need to update my info. Just kept asking for my address, and I kept asking what service this was for. It was a cycle of idiocy, until I broke the cycle by saying go #$%* yourself and hung up.

Could not understand the caller, but stated he was from XM. told him to email or mail me the bill.

Every time I pick up nobody answers I'm not patient enough to wait for a reply. If you call me speak to me don't make me sit there like an idiot for five minutes listening to dead air. 😡

SCAM! They said they were with Sirius Radio and that my credit card expired. I know it hasn't but they asked for a new credit card right away. I told them no, I need a formal request for this so please tell Sirius to mail it to me as they already have my address on file. They hung up before I could finish speaking. I am reporting this to the FCC.

Thanks to you all, I went to the Sirius website and got their actual phone number - 877-486-3793 and I also logged into my account.  My bank had issued a new credit card with a chip in it a couple of months ago and I didn't realize it is a different number.  I entered my new cc number in the Sirius website and problem solved.  I also blocked the 866 number that relates to this page.

Why don't all you guys just click "Add to Reject List" to stop calls from numbers you don't want to hear from?

Be aware, the folks in this forum writing that this is a legit Sirius call may just be the scammers trying to cover their lies. Don't fall for it.

Because not everyone has that capability on their phones.

Unwanted calls prob from a Sirius data breach.

my bank con firmed the reason they reissued my debit card was there was a security breach and they were proactively reissuing the card.  After I talked long and hard to the bank manager, she confirmed it was a company called sirius.  Well that made it so they could no longer take funds out of my account unauthorized.  The last time they got a card number was via a phone conversation that no where during that call did it say after the 6 months trial they were giving me, it would then be a reoccurring charge.  But if you get emails it will say it will be a reoccurring charge and that you agree to all the conditions by giving them a CC#  Glad sirius screwed up so they got my card reissued.  Now I say no to their service.  I also said no via an email direct to them a month ago.  They will still harass you.  All they want is the CC# with faulty security on their end.

It is SiriusXM. Since I have it and they've called me about 5 times I called them back and they could not answer why they had called. But they had my name, address and vehicle info. "Just ignore all those calls".

Why are people insane these days over phone calls? I don't wanna hear from Sirius either, but goddamn. ...  Believe it or not, back in the day, we didn't even have a caller id...and we answered the phone anyway...and nobody died. Chill

This is XM Radio wanting to update your CC info on file to continue service. That is fine, however, if you are calling me twice a day, even on Sundays from a foreign country asking for my CC info......ahhh no thanks. I told the woman that XM will usually send me a bill through the mail & I would feel more comfortable handling payment that way IF this was a legit call.

They keep on callin, I keep on-a-blockin.

I’ve gotten several calls from this # and a local exchange that people say is Sirius XM. Is it possible it’s a scam claiming to be Sirius XM to get people’s credit card #s? I wonder.

Update: Just called Sirius XM and it was their call center. I complained about the calls with no messages and the fact that they lied about the monthly costs and term. I canceled my contract.

Called twice last evening, & so far 5 times today, & the day isn't over yet.  No message. Sad we have to be afraid to answer our phones these days.  If this really Sirius XM as previously notated, they got the wrong person.  I don't & have never subscribed to them.
