Called but left no message. No idea who it is or what they want

Collection call from Merrick Bank, credit card department 866-523-9144.

I started receiving calls from this number back in January 2018. I answered to find out what they wanted with me. The lady on the phone told me that I owed them $7000 and if I did not pay that they would take me to court. I kindly told the lady that I never had any dealings with Merrick Bank and to stop calling and to send me something in writing stating what this was about. I never received any information. They would call 4 times a day from several different numbers. The strange thing is that I do not owe any money to this company.  I downloaded all my calls from Jan 2018 to March 2018. Finally after 225 calls I contacted a lawyer. I have officially filed a lawsuit against this company. It does not cost a thing, the lawyer does not charge until you get paid. Even if you do owe them money they can't keep calling you after you have asked them to stop.

They (Merrick Bank) keep calling after repeatedly telling to stop calling my work phone.

Phone call from 866-523-9144 Fri 10/6/18  after 9pm PST. Caller had the opportunity to leave a voicemail message but did not do so. My number is on The Do Not Call List + the call came in after 9pm, so whoever is calling has no regard for the laws prohibiting phone calls to the do not call list or calls after (or before) a certain time. Given the caller's disregard for the law, these calls appear to be scam calls.

I also thought it was against the law to call after 9 pm or on Sundays. They do both, repeatedly! Today is Sunday and they have called 5 times.

Have called 3 times in 3 days, and did not leave message. I do not answer unknown calls. I blocked the number/

I downloaded the Hiya app, a caller ID and block app, and this number comes up as Debt Collector/ scammer. Got several calls everyday for the past week now, before 9am and after 9pm. Reported the number to the FTC because I am on the do not call list

Call several times a day and never leave a mesaage. ID shows 800 Service. No one that lives here has any unpaid debts. Wish the government would crack down on this ridiculousness that disrupts our lives needlessly!
