Voice-mail person identified as Monica and said I was "pre-approved for up to 40,000 debt relief. She told me to reach her by calling 8665310928 but the caller ID actually came from 2087389401

I had the same call from Monica but this number she wants you to call back... 866-531-0928... the number she called from was +1 (386) 213-5384. This call is total BS ... all of this scam crap has to stop.

I got what sounds like the same message.  I tried calling back but line has bin busy for three hours. to bad. $40,000 WOULD HAVE BIN NICE.

Multiple calls per day all originating from different numbers in the US, never seen the same one twice & been going on for weeks, goes to voicemail.  Recording of “Monica” following up on “voicemail last week” regarding pre-approval for $40K, $10K, or just pre-approval for hardship relief, all referencing this number for callback.  So far no luck getting it stopped.

This call is a total BS scam; these monsters are taking advantage of the fact that President Biden has announced that he intends to introduce a plan for Student Loan Debt Forgiveness, and knowing that millions of people, who are out of work due to this global pandemic, are desperate for any little bit of financial relief they can achieve right now, will fall for it- they are seizing their opportunity. The message reads as follows-

"Hi this is Monica from national relief Center and I'm just following up on a voicemail I left you last week regarding your preapproval for up to $40,000 for the alternative debt hardship program so you can call me back at 866-531-0928 at your earliest convenience and then its fine you can speak with me or one of my associates either way but again the number is 866-531-0928. Thank you."

The number this person called from tripped my (very unreliable Verizon Spam Call Filter, which blocks the incoming call and diverts it directly to Voicemail) SpamScan app, and was made from the incoming number of 762-220-4351.

When I called the "866-531-0928" number (just for [***] and giggles to prove my convictions of smelling a scam from a mile away) it immediately just says "line busy." Tried this several more times, and finally "got through" to a person- I asked for "Monica" they said she wasn't available, I asked for one of her associates, they asked for my name (I gave a false one, saying I'd received a call asking to call back immediately about the $40,000,000 student loan debt forgiveness) and they immediately asked me to verify my social security number, (I made up a number- starting with three zeroes...) and they said, "Very good, that's correct, now if we could just have a few more details to make sure we can verify the amount of student loan debt you have..."

And I hung up. What [***]. PLEASE avoid at all costs!

Same happened to me.  I wish these scammers could be stopped.

Caller name is Monica from national relief center. said she was following up on message she left me previously. Said I was pre-approved for up 40k debit relief funds. She Calls almost everyday different times throughout the day. I feel harrassed

This is a scam that needs to be investigated

I have the same issues and complaints as all the above. I wish someone would fix this. I have so many blocked and deleted calls that it seems the more I delete it block the more spam I get.

Thank you for providing this information. I love to read peoples testimonies about being confronted by scammers. At this day and age, we should not be living like this, suspecting everybody having ulterior motive.

I too believe to be totally BS scam.  She too, same lady offered me the same 40k debt forgiveness. First I havent ask anyone a thing about that sort of stuff. And when tried to call back operator came on and said they didnt take calls.  On my caller ID simply said, RESTRICTED.. goes to show again nothing for nothing. Glad I'm not where I need to lower myself to the levels of such persons as this who feed on the old and weak. Still it burns my butt they can get away with such [***] nowadays. Just knowing only way possible is them to pay off right folks.
