Got a call with message 'This is Amy Wilson calling in regards to federal student loan repayment options' Number 800-531-4004 and she gave me a reference number 055503.
Pretty sure it is a scam, they just keep changing the voice and name of the person. I wouldn't trust it.

Received the exact same call as Luna--including reference number but different phone number.  Kind of tells me it is boguz.  Here is the transcript of the voice mail:

"Yes this is Amy Wilson and I'm calling in reference to your federal student loan. I need to discuss your repayment options with some new changes that are taking effect recently so if you could please be sure to just give me a call back. My number is 866-531-4004 and I'm gonna go ahead and give you a reference number if you would just have to see you when you call back it makes things a lot easier. Your reference number is 055503. Thank you."

got the same exact message,down to same referance number. i do not have any student loans.

I also received the same message with the same reference number. I don't have any school loans either.

Same as everyone above.  The difference is, my husband called back to get removed from the call list.  The man on the other end got nasty and said, "It's your negative credit score, not mine..." and hung up.  No clue what that means.  We have no student loans, though, so this must be a scam.

I just got the same call with the same reference number...Very much a scam!

Received the exact same call as mentioned above from Amy Wilson with the same reference number. I've been out of school for over 40 years - and never had any student loans. With this many matching reports it has to be some sort of smelly dead fish head scam... I guess you can't fix stupid.

Got the same message. Same person, Amy Wilson,  different call back number and same reference number .

Exact same message, same reference number, and same call back number as listed above.  My daughter, who is in college and does have federal student loans, has gotten this call 2 other times on her cell phone, and this one was on our home phone.  Big scam.

I got the same message and have no student loans. I called back, got a recording, if you have no student loans or owe less then 10,000, press 1. I did and then the recording said no offers were available to me and I will be removed from the call list

Same story as all these others, and when I called, the man had no idea who Amy Wilson is, and said "I don't work for that department."

Got the same call using the same reference 55503- Scam!!!

I received the same message and the same "reference number".  I went to school on Pell grants and then joined the military and got the GI Bill--never had student loans.  I figured this was a phishing attempt for personal/financial information.
