called my job stating they wanted my supervisor then stated nvr mind they would talk to me to save me the emberassment. i called the # back and its a weird tone, no one ever answers. who does that?

Called my home asking for me (provided wrong name) or my attorney to call back immediately. Really?! Got same weird message when I called back.

Called my home and job to say that I will be servered a judgement by a police officer.

Well if they already have a judgement it's too late to do anything about it. Of course there really is no judgement they are just trying to scare you with inappropriately used legalese to get you to call back.  Probably a collection agency on a phising expedition.

I just received weird phone call from someone representing the Winchester group saying I was being served in a criminal complaint against me. They are calling me at work, I don't know what to do.  I don't want to lose my job.  Is this a scam//

Received call from man claiming to be Bryce Jordan, legal council for Winchester Group representing U S Bank in a legal action against me. He wanted my ssan & date of birth. I refused and have never dealt with U S bank. Then he said they were  looking for a different person of the same name and different address.

I have called form 866-531-4981 and he states his name is Cory Matthew. He has called the other day and i have told him not to call me at work to call my cell and again call me work stating that in behalf of me an 18 years older or above and something about lawyer and so on.

It's just the weirdest thing to think that you can call someone on their job tell them what YOU want and how YOU plan to get it from them...lady calls me, wants my supervisor, a fax #...sure..now who are you? Jackie West and we are going to serve you at your job...ME: Really??  OK...and what is that I owe that I have NOT rec'd a notice from at home??  HER: Ma'am, you know what you owe..Me:  LOL  OK; I hang up and because she is calling from a restricted #, I don't answer the next time she calls, so she leaves me a message with this # and extension and to call her back with my supervisor's name and number and that she is going to report me for being rude to her.  NOT calling back and b/c I work for a public place..look up EVERYTHING that you think you need..meanwhile..."as I were"...LMBO

they did the same thing to me and said i was getting serive and they are here to collect a debt and even ask for my card number and send me a letter in the mail its a scam
