They called me and my family as well. I ignored it because I figured it was a scam as well and then I received a letter in the mail about 3-4 weeks after for MONTGOMERY COUNTY CLERKS OFFICE and I really had litigations against me! WTF. Someone is actually coming after me for wage garnishment! SMH. Because I didn't cooperate with the representatives before being summoned, I now have to appear in court on Monday the 29th at 9:25am and I really just hope all goes well. I have absolutely no idea what this is about, and I don't know who called the rest of you, but this was a real call for me! Choose wisely you guys. Some are fake, but this was definitely real for me!!! Good luck!!!!! -Ky

Let's see what we have here...
    1. The reports on this number started less than a week ago.
    2. All the other posts have the earmarks of a "Fake Process Server" scam.
    3. You claim to have received the phone call "3-4 weeks" ago, yet you did not seem curious enough to come here and report it then.
    4. Once a summons is served, the receiving party is given time to respond to the court before a court date is set, and that date is seldom in the near future.  Yet, you are stating that you have a court date 2 weeks from now.  That would mean that you received the summons quite a while back and must have blown off responding to it.
    5. You and your Shill post are little more than a pile of Bovine Excrement.

There is no business registered in Connecticut with that name.  Their website says they have been working together for 30 years, yet no search results can confirm that claim. Sorry, but you are lying if you claim to have "received a letter in the mail" from Montgomery County Clerk's Office, since Clerk's don't mail out letters, they mail out Court Summons, complete with a Docket number.

Judging by how you posted the username  as "kysiah favors", I doubt you are in the US either. Most likely found the name and that it was from Montgomery County OH.

There is a BBB page with Litigation Service Group (Advance Fee Brokers) out of Ohio, but it is also "overviewed" as a phony debt collector.

Seems we again must thin the herd of victim confessional shills. Nobody wants summer reruns of "Should'a Paid When I Had the Chance". Behave like a victim and do not bemoan your punishment.

You haven't pinned down when the verbal threat calls came or when your "letter" or summons or letter posing as a summons arrived. Yet you are decidedly specific about your court appearance date and time, as though inviting readers to sit in the gallery. To address your big trouble you won't confide in trusted relatives or an attorney, but you will come running to a phone call complaint board to bleat like an injured goat less than a week after your plaintiff began to inspire complaints in this thread. The nature of the complaint and your local court are mysteries to you, while your sweaty attention locks on to dire outcomes. Then you toss self-contradictory hissy fits when light is aimed through your plot holes. While backpedaling you claim that even the plaintiff's name is a toss-up.

Again, most of this show has aired before. Either get some fresh writers or, on the wild chance you have a genuine credit problem in that mess of a script, face it like a grownup.

I'll entertain that fantasy long enough to note that in some jurisdictions serving the complaint is optional. A summons can arrive naked and burden shifts to defendants to divine its purpose. Why any court tolerates such a rule is a baffler. Days pass as you repeat protests that you "dk how this court [blankety] works". Well, you got seven weekdays to read its rules and query clerks. You'll learn plenty five minutes after the bailiff shouts "all rise". Maybe you'll want to walk in there at 09:24 with more than a dumbfounded look on your face and your shirttail flapping behind.

Ky, buddy! How'd ya do at that court appearance yesterday morning? You sounded so blindsided a couple weeks ago. I was worried that you might not obtain the help you obviously needed in time, or maybe try something stupid like stay home and attract a bench warrant.

Maybe you can help us understand your problem and its surrounding mystery. You'd reported a letter sent from the Montgomery County Clerks Office to inform you of "litigations" naming you. While I'm not in Ohio, I thought this was a mite strange as county clerks are usually record custodians only. An aggregator website page agrees with me in this case.

Well, perhaps in your state of anxiety you misnamed the Montgomery County Clerk of Courts. There again I have a question, since it's not normally a court clerk's job to mail out civil complaints or even "litigations" notices. Your plaintiff should bear that burden via process server. Have you some weirdo court rule which says different?

Stump the Band time! I've made a valiant yet futile effort to find your case through the county's court portal: Montgomery County Clerk of Courts, Public Records Online v3

It's a total blank slate for both your name and the plaintiff Litigation Service Group. The attorney's name you'd provided was another blind alley. There are several "William Gant" entries, not all the same man, as both plaintiffs and defendants. None of those cases were filed this year, or this decade, or indeed in this century. Are you sure we all got the right names, Ky-sie?

To verify that the court docket portal was functioning well, I also plugged in chronic serial plaintiffs in debt cases such as Capital One, Portfolio Recovery, and Santander. There were ample entries for each, both recent and past.

I know you must be five kinds of busy right now, but you should be informed enough of whatever is at personal controversy to get past campfire ghost stories and show us what's getting roasted. Maybe you should tell Mike Foley, the fellow who runs the court clerk office, that we're getting confusing smoke signals here. He welcomes comments "to improve your experience". Seems nice enough.
