did you get a call to stating he had papers to deliver to your home or work per a formal complaint too?  And give this number to contact the person or he will be coming to work or home.

I got one too.  I don't think this is legit, though.

I got the same message from a Debra White, saying she was delivering papers, has anyone actually had these people show up to deliver these papers.

This is the fouth time that some has called trying to con me out of money. the last three times they have claimed to be from a payday loan place and I owe them money from 5 years ago.  I havent taken a  loan out for over 8 proll. this people are full of s***. I have called them back couple of times and asked them to please send documents to the hous but they will just ask to email it. Any buisness is more then willing to send you proof of he bill.. do not give them money or any information at all until they send you proof.

I received call saying that they had a formal complaint and that these people would file final papers. Are these people legit? No company name given just number to call.

I just got the same call from a process server who was giving me a "heads up." I did not know they were so kind. The First American Solution operator was very rude and would not give me any info on what this was about, she said that I would be seen in court. Not sure, but it seemed fishy to me.

No one will call saying you are going to be served.  This is a scare tactic that collection agencies use.  First, the company will send you letters asking for the money.  If the company was to go to court, you would get a certified letter in the mail, stating that in so many days, you will need to pay up.  Then they go to court (you do not have to be present for them to do this), put a judgment on you and your property and THEN you will be served with judgment papers again you.

I also just received a call from this number from a person named Sarah Clark stating she has papers to be served on me either at work or at home.  Said to call this number back 1-866-531-8658 and tell them what my file number is that she just gave me.

I received the same message I wanted to know if this is legit. I always said if you can't send me something on company letterhead it's not good.
