Left message for a "Leon Free" stating they were an officer from New Mexico. No Precinct or Department information included, just "an officer from New Mexico." Stated  I was listed as a "secondary contact" for Leon, which was super strange. usually companies only ask for a primary contact on documentation unless it is a healthcare system. They also said it was an urgent matter as there there was another officer trying to reach Leon to deliver some paperwork and has not been able to reach Leon. There was lots of background noise, sounded almost like a call center, but I couldn't make out much more outside of that.

Scam! They scare you into thinking that you have a civil lawsuit. Do not answer or give them information.

Received a call from this number stating I had a civil suit waiting on me for a credit card from years ago. Strange thing is they had my middle name and my wifes number who was not my wife at the time. I wonder if they stole some info?

If the info is inaccurate, where do you think they stole it from?

Not necessarily; a lot of information about people is out on the internet and in public records.
For instance, while she may not have been your wife when you had that credit card, she is now and your marriage in-between those times is public record.  They can get her name from that (and most likely your full name as well), and a little searching on the internet gives them her phone number (possibly as easy as checking her posts on social media).

Unless the Statute of Limitations in your State has not expired on that credit card debt, you do not need to worry about a "civil suit" since the debt (if it is even valid) would be time-barred.  In any case, the preceding posts point to this being a "Fake Process Server/Debt Collector" scam.

I got a voicemail about this Philip aFernandez that he is a Chicago process server asking me to get a lawyer and call this number (866-539-7262) it is an urgent matter he said and he also has like a reference number for me.

Don't believe it. They gave me a "case number" I called the judiciary branch in my state and they confirmed it's a scam. Also I have no debt, I keep a close eye on my credit. This is a scare tactic so that you pay them over the phone. Also no process server is going to ask you if you are available to be served. That's like calling a criminal and asking "are you available to be arrested today?" It's ridiculous. These people get around being reported by calling from a private number and having you call the toll free number. It's a scam and I hope they get busted.
