Supposed Collection Agency that is calling me, the # that shows up on my cell phone caller ID is 311 (not a valid #). I have been repeatedly called, although I have tried to dispute the charges that I supposedly owe. Each person that I have spoken to refuses to send me a statement in the mail showing in writing what exactly I owe the money for. Their rebuttal is that they have already sent me statements- 6 months ago (yet I never received them)!! When asked for their ph# the first time, I was given an invalid 1-800 phone #. After being called over 5 times, I asked for their name, address, and ph#. They were very hesitant about giving it to me, I was transferred to a "supervisor" that asked me to "trust" him and that their was no need in giving me that info because he "promised" to close my account and that I would no longer be receiving anymore phone calls from them. After I let him know I still wanted it, he finally gave it to me. I have called this ph# that I was given multiple times, it has the companies name, and says it will transfer you to the next available representative, but each time it says "every rep is busy" and it goes straight to voicemail asking for your name and # to call back. I have called at different times and different days...and yet, somehow, can never get a hold of a rep. Don't believe anything they say!!! Very scary, because they have all of my info!!!
