These people call everyday I am in the process of sending them a cease an desist letter. They are part of Asset Acceptance LLC. I have told them repeatedly I am not the person they are calling for and that person does not live here! So like Alied Collection I'll be sending them a Cease and Desist letter on top of reporting them to the Federal Trade Commission, Bureau of Consumer Protection, BBB, Atterney General Consumer Protection Office, FCC And The Telephone Consumer Protection Act. TYhese people never learn, on top of the person don"t live here!

got the same call today and yesterday and when i called back they said that it a personal matter. well, how personal, and who are you? i asked. they the said sorrow bout, sorry bout what, then i hung up the phone. it sounds like a scam of some sort or want you to tell them your name, but that aint happening, so therefore, the ought to recognize that all internet users aren't stupid.

Received a call from these people last night at 8:01 PM, and again at 12:29 PM today.   Last night the caller asked me if I had received a letter from Northland Group.  I asked what it was in reference to.   He would not say, just said that he would call back later, after I received their letter.   My son answered the phone today.  When I answered, they hung up.   If this is a collection call, they have the wrong party.    It sure ticks my off royally that the guy would not say why he was calling, when I asked.

I got a call today, asking for my ex husband.. we have been divorced for over 20 years! I don't why they would call me, I have been remarried for the past 17 years, so have a different last name. Never had any kids with my ex either so no connections to him at all in over 20 years. how they got my number I have no ideal. Anyway out of curiosity I asked why they ere looking for him and they said "personal matter" thats it.

just recived a call from this number they call at least two (2) times a day   i am getting very upset  every thing is a personal to them ...this has to stop

It is the Northland Group.
My father freely admits that he has an old debt with these people and I learned about that a while back, because he has been living with me for a while due to very ill health.
However, my father is terminally ill with heart failure and end stage copd and I told these people that and even volunteered to send them proof.  
They still call and I am scared to block their number and stuff.
They called at 8:34 am today, central time and they just called last night well after 8p.m.
I would rather tend to my own dad's medical needs as of right now and put his old debt on the back burner, except for his medical debt (of course).

These people called me after 9pm CDT!  I thought this was a against the law for a collection agency to call that late at night?!

I just called Northland and they said that my number wasnt on record, thats BS, they call twice a day, also she drilled me about how I got that number, so I told her theres a message board complaining about them and she said ok and hung up, i would encourage you to call the  (763) 533-8484 number.

These people call constantly asking or should I say, "demanding" to speak to a Jeannie.  There is no one here by that name.  I tell them not to ever call again, but they do.  They call before 8am they call as close to 9pm as possible.  Always rude, will not explain themseleves, what they want and continue to ask for someone who does not live here.  They called Christmas Eve, the called late Sunday night.  They are rude and crude.  Where are all the laws and rules that are meant to protect us from such harrassement?  Please, someone out there, put an end to this misery!

I have received calls from this number at least once every week for the last 2 months.  I never answer, but they continue calling and never leave a message.

They just called me twice in the matter of seconds. They did not leave a message so I called them back. They are looking for someone named Noelle. Nobody lives here by that name. These people have been looking for this person at my number for well over a year now and keep switching companies. I am so tired of this crap.

I did not bother calling these people because I know that they would just use the info from my cell phone etc to confirm that the number belongs to someone aside from trying to take my personal information. This is a scam.  Here is their message:  "You have a new GROW FINANCIAL CREDIT UNION pending alert.  Call now free:  1-866-550-3358 and follow instructions to resolve this alert."  I don't have any such thing and I think that thieves are becoming more and more sophisticated by using toll free numbers to commit crimes...as if the toll free number gives them an aura of honesty or sophistication. I hope that the culprits are caught because they are sending multiple text messages to my cell phone and I am forced to cancel my cell phone account soon since I am getting spam everyday from scam artists when I've never given any business my cell phone number to begin with.

There are two approaches that I use, one is simple.  I have a fax machine hooked up to my phone line and leave it on.  If I know the caller I pick up the phone, if I do not they get the fax.  Another which is a lot of fun is a police whistle.  Never had a call back after using that.

I see many comments from years past. End of March 2012 now, and I get more calls from this # than any other spammer/collector/surveyor. It's blocked now, but calls still get logged maybe once a week. I do not owe ANY debt to anyone, nor do I know the "Johnson" person they asked about years ago, nor do I know anyone being sought by collectors. Same number for decades now... They're just 'persistent trash' imm.

While blocked, this # keeps showing up (CID log)  and keeps calling.  As above, they just keep calling, even though they have no (legitimate) reason. Phishing...
