A woman called me and my whole family today saying I was having charges against me

They lied. Real process servers don't call in advance. Let your family know this is a scam & to block the number if they can.

Omg they had me going. I really was freaking out. This alleged processor called and left a VM saying to call back with this case # or they'd be forced to proceed without me. So I called them back and this woman got on the phone saying I owed US bank 1800 bucks and that if I didn't want to go to court I could settle it before thru them and I'm like how do I know this is legit. Am I supposed to just pay someone who called saying I owe them money without proof. She said the proof will be shown in court and I said I don't want to go to court and she was like okay all I can tell you is it was an account in my town but I told them it's impossible bc I haven't had an account there. And the town I did have one in was over 20 years ago. And she just kept on saying how it was going to cost me more thru court and I wouldn't back down. I'm like show me some evidence of the account and I will gladly pay you but she said they don't want to show you anything that's why they're filling a lawsuit. That they also sent a letter in April stating I owed this which isn't true either. Smh I hung up on them told her to suck a bag....
