I get calls on my cell phone from some company calling me by someone else's name, and threatens to appear at my door if I don't call this number and be prepared to accept them when they come to my home.  They called from 818-616-6039, which turns out to be a bogus number.  I have already contacted my attorney and the FCC and they said that these are scam artists, trying to make people afraid and pay them money.  I don't know the person they claim I am, and I am very tired of these phone calls.  I never answer a number I am not familiar with, and they, like the stupid people they are, actually leave a message!  Is there anything that can be done about this?  It has been going on for almost a year now.

Why wouldn't you just change your number?

That's clearly a lie... I called myself... nothing like that was said at all... in fact they helped...
