I have found that companies, even though I have requested my name removed, will infact take you of the list if you do this. At the top of each fax transmission sheetis the number that faxed you.send them back fifty solid black sheets.after a couple days of changing toner cartridges, they will actually call you abd ask you to stop.Then......it's up to you.

What part of "stop faxing" don't these guys get. This is harassment and this company should be put out of business. I have asked our number to be removed at least 5 times and they still insist on using my paper to fax stuff I DO NOT want.

Had enough of this [***], reported to the CRTC with links to parent company contacts saying something needs to be done. I have requested removal numerous times with no avail. There fax number is 1-416-644-1129 if anyone wants to take this into their own hands and waste their fax machines paper.

Please remove us from your fax list.

Fax advertising not welcome!

Please stop sending faxes to me.  I have no use for the items being advertized.

No more faxes Please........there is nothing that you are selling that I want.....and because you continue to send unwanted faxes ....if by a miracle i wanted what you are advertising i would not order it from you as you have been insistent when it is unwanted

The phone number 866-553-1280 is listed at the bottom of junk faxes that are trying to sell steel-frame buildings.  That number is also listed in conjunction with www.nothx.net.  Nothx.net is a domain registered to ActiveCore in Toronto.  I don't believe that calling the number 866-553-1280 or trying to contact nothx.net/activecore will help in getting these faxes to stop.

Instead I called the main contact number on the junk fax, which is 888-783-3535.  This number belongs to Coastal Steel in Florida.

The FCC issued a warning in May 2007 against Coastal Steel because of these junk faxes:

I'm very surprised that nobody has complained to the FCC in the past 3 years about Coastal Steel and their junk faxes.

When I called 888-783-3535, I asked if I had reached Coastal Steel.  At first the guy answering the phone was reluctant to say yes, but after I asked again, he said yes.  I then told him I wanted him to stop sending me junk faxes.  He seemed cooperative and I gave him my fax number.  He mumbled that I might be getting these faxes because of the activities of one of their distributors.  Only time will tell if these faxes stop.

I faxed back to Coastal Steel (1-888-676-3337) and asked for my number to be removed.  If this doesn't help, they will be getting a fax from ME every day until they do - it will cost they as well.

If you would like to take your name off of ALL of these faxing lists, you can call the main provider to request so. InfoCanada @ 1-866-872-1075. They are a marketing company that will take money from businesses in exchange for mass faxing of that company's advertisements. Please ask that they remove your fax number from ALL of their lists. If you call the number at the bottom of the fax and enter the ext. number or document number, they will continue to spam your fax machine with several other advertisements.
