Umm, no, incorrect. The correct answer is 8665538166 is a free service of locating schools in the area as well as online. They don't ask for a credit card number or a social security number or anything. It's an automatic Dialer, so when you call in and say hello, most likely it hasn't even reached a representative yet, or the automatic dialer thinks you are not a person. They are required to leave messages, if they don't leave messages, they get in trouble and perhaps even fired. They're not a collections agency, or a we want your money agency. They get paid by the schools to get the schools well known, or in contact with potential students. If you ask them to Please stop calling, then that's your own fault because you have to mention to be taken off some sort of List, the internal list, the do not call list, as long as you say the word list, they are required to take you off the list, which by the way also takes up to 48 hours to be removed because it is an automatic dialer, so if you recieved a call within that time, just disreguard it and if you get called after that time, you ask to speak with a supervisor, it's as simple as that.

This number called about an hour after I had applied for a job on the website Jobs.com.  Coincidence?  Probably not. Will I answer if I am home? Maybe.  Do I want to? No, if a company does not want to identify themselves and just show Toll Free Call, I don't think it is worth the effort.

career advisor has called my cellphone 11 times in two weeks!!! i keep my phone on silent most of the time and call back whoever calls me. i haven't answered either of their calls!!! sometimes they will call twice within the hour. this week i decided to call them back after they called me and explained to them that ive noticed they keep calling my number and that im not interested in continuing my education at this time. they get offended and say ok and just call them if i need career advise. they called back again the next day and i called them back again and told them that ive already spoken with someone about not calling me and once again, they said ok. theyve called me back twice again this last hour!! I WANT THIS TO STOP NOW!! THIS IS HARASSMENT AND I DONT GO FOR THAT!!!  i DID NOT give them permission to call me about continuing my education!!

Ok so I answered this time by mistake.  Was not paying attention. The person on the other end was definately in a call center and did not speak clearly.  It sounded like he was calling for couriers not careers.  Let's add insult to injury if they are calling from a foreign call center. *sheesh*   After clearing up that it was careers not couriers he was calling about, told him I was not interested and to please take my number off the call list.
    We shall see.

grow up. those are pretty hateful words. lets just be honest they have a job, you are desperate enough to go to job.com and apply for jobs that you know you dont qualify for and wont get without a college education. maybe you should give them a call and find a school.

I have been getting these annoying calls from 866-553-8166 for the past one week. It's so so annoying! Every time I get a call from this number and I answer, I never hear anyone on the other end and they never leave a message, it's so so IRRITATING. I will have to report them to Tmobile so they could block them for me cos my phone, which is a Tmobile HTC phone doesn't have the 'block' feature on it.

I received a call from them (866-553-8166) about 15 minutes after posting my resume on Jobs.com. Even though I elected NOT to be contacted by any schools. Next time they call I will tell them not to call.
