Called my daughters cell several times. Sent a txt msg that says from BofA and need to discuss something about account. I called the number and the recorded voice says "thank you for calling Card Services". Hung up. Don't think this is really BofA. How do they get my number?

I received a text message from this same number stating it was bank of america with an account servicing issue they needed to discuss and to please call before 9pm.

Same as above.....got a txt msg 2/9/10 asking for a call by 9:00 PM

That number is from BofA - Card Services. It's a courtesy call if you are behind on your credit card payment. When you speak with the individual, they may ask you which card you are calling about. Ask them to give you the last 4 digits of the card they called you about. Make them verify that they actually have your information in front of them before you answer any questions. If you are uncomfortable with the call, tell them so and hang up.

Recieved text stateing from BofA and to call. Called recording says "card services" then asks for full account number of card. pressed 0 till I got someone. I told them I do not have a BofA card or account of any kind. They removed my #.
