Lately, I have not been bothered much with unwanted calls and have not
been using an answering machine!
12-26-07 evening I believe between 8 and 9 pm eastern standard.
computer generated "you have a collect call from" unintelligible voice
mumbles a name that could be from mexico, india, or next door.  I hang up immediately.  In about 5 minutes, I get this call again with same message and I hang up. I call #69 to identify the number.

I too received a call tonight around 9:00 p.m. with a recording about accepting charges for a collect call.  It was on my answering machine.  I did a *69 to see who had called.  Then I came to computer to do a search.  Any idea who this is?

i recieve calls from this number, but its from a friend of mine who is incarcerated. i didn't know anyone else called from this number other then people from our county jail. i searched for this number b/c everytime they call from this number, they cut our phone calls off early.

The calls are not just from one specific jail or prison.  That is the number that shows on the caller ID whenever a call from a jail or prison using Securus phone systems is placed to your phone.  There are a lot of jails and prisons that use them all over the country.

I gave them my son who is in prison and his prison nulmber and paid them 37.95 for 30.00 of phone calls to my daughter at 2707054537.   my text is 2702260730   never heard from my son in eastern ky correctioan complex.  the prison is the one who gave me the number
