got a call from someone they got an email from me.  They left a voice mail message but I deleted it.  After I got another call from the same number but I didn't answer it then either.

Called my cell phone, but left no message.
Very irritating.

I also received several calls from this number, they have stated that they have "received an e-mail from you" and "we received an e-mail regarding a single website"  even though I have not applied to a singles web site.  It is very annoying and I have never answered the phone nor returned their calls.

I also received a call with this number - Helen was her name. I called back and they told me is was a singles.com service.  Not interested and not sure how they got both of my work and cell numbers.

I too received a call from this number about an hour and a half ago and since I don't answer calls from numbers I don't know I let it go to voice mail.  All the lady said was "Hi I'm calling you in response to the email you sent me and I have some great news for you so give me a call back at 866-558-7188" and then repeated the number and hung up.  I sure as hell didn't email anyone I don't know and I've been reading it's some singles service and I have NO idea how they could have gotten my phone number, my cell phone number at that!  Not to mention I'm not even single.  I hope they get this number banned and put out of business, this is harrassment and apparently they are doing it to alot of people.  With Verizon I can't block numbers so they better not hope they call back or I will rip them a new one!  :-)

I have received this call at my work and my home. I get the message this is Melissa I am calling you regarding an email you sent and I have some great news for you please give me a call back at 866.558.7188. I never would give my home phone number out in an email to someone I do not know let alone my work number.  I am very frusterated with this. I had surgery and was out for 5 days and in that time I had 12 messages from this same lady. I would like it to stop.

Some guy named Ken called and was very short.  He expected me to answer his questions but would not answer mine.  He said I had set an appointment with him 1 month ago.  I would have remembered such an obligation.  I think the important thing is that I never admitted I was the person he was looking for.  If someone calls me and asks for me by name I tell them that such'n'such is not there and I can take a message.  Their BS quickly becomes apparent at that point.  Alot of information is public these days but without something to sink their teeth in, these people really don't have much to use against you.  Be as indirect as possible unless you know they are legitimate

I got a call today at 3:47pm.  The lady sounded really enthusiastic and said she got my wonderful email and had some great news for me and that she'd be in today till 9pm.  I've read other responses and they say it's about some singles.com thing.  I have been online and on a couple of these sites, but if people are getting these randomly, I'm really unsure what is going on.  I'm afraid to call, as I've heard sometimes reasonable looking phone numbers direct you to long distance out-of-country numbers that have fees attached to them - even if they don't tell you.  I'm not sure if that's a real scam or just something circulating on the internet, though.

WOW!!  These people will NOT stop calling me.  I was deceived by one of their ads (it was supposed to be a "new" singles meeting thing for people just in my city).  The website took my information then said "thanks, we'll get back to you!"- turned out to be a ploy by singles.com.  It didn't give me a way to cancle.  Great.  1 month later (and I am no longer single) a lady from this number named Kelly calls me 1-3 times a DAY every day for the last month!  ALL hours.  I'm calling my phone company to have her blocked today.

The message is "Hello!  I'm responding to your email and have some GREAT news for you!  Give me a call at 866-558-7188"

Yes I did the exact same thing as the previous poster. I saw signs around town for OlatheSingles.com figured I'd take a look. It asks you to register, for the site. But instead of giving access to a dating site it says Thanks someone will be calling you! And I can confirm no way to cancel and no confirmation e-mail to respond to. What a scam, it wont let you complete the form with out putting a phone number and they never say anything about calling you.

I got the same thing.  I am single but haven't responded to anything that I am aware of. These calls usually come during my business hours and are very annoying.  I would love to find a way to have this number blocked for good!

I have recieved the same thing they said I signed up for KCsingles .com.  I waas getting on there to browse and now they wont stop calling me.  I finally did answer one of the calls and asked for them to quit calling me.  The women named Beth asks are you still single.  I lied and said NO please stop calling me.  Then right before she hangs up she states "you should probably stay off the internet for awhile" .  So I backed up mt computer and made sure I had a a good firewall setup.  And made sure that my virus scanner was up to date.  that scared the hell out of me.
