I received a call from this number on a Sunday night just before 9 PM.  My answering machine picked up and they just hung up.

I got a message from them on my machine, just background talking as if someone dialed by accident. Strange to get from an 866 caller. Who is it?

Just got a ring from same number, 'unknown name'. They hung up when answering machine picked up.

Market research firm.  Doing public opinion polls.

I called back, message said number not in service...

It's a bs telemarketing company that calls people EVERDAY. Even if you answer, they hang up. Report it to your local police as harrassment. You can't call them back as all their options are BOGUS!!!
Just thought I'd let you know.

Called just now, said "This is Jonathan" the lady said immediately as if it was what she was planning to say "sorry, wrong number" and hung up.

Received a call a little before 7PM on Fri. night. No one on the line, so I hung up. Very annoying. I'm on my state's Do Not Call list & the National Do Not Call list.

yea i got this call from this number a couple minutes ago

They just called here at 6:00pm.  I did not answer it.
Very annoying.

called four times today (so far) between 330pm-700pm. didn't answer, let machine pick up, no message left. they also called a couple times yesterday and the day before.

7:22 pm, 5.52pm, 4.22 pm ,today  Sept 19th 08
8;10 pm, 6:39 pm, , 5:07pm, Seot 17th

never answered no message

1-866 numbers are the best ones to avoid,
it's always a BS call....

I received a call from this number. They said they were doing a survey about home improvement. had a British accent.

called and would not identify himself or his business

specifically it's Ipsos Reid, formerly Angus Reid

They cal me 5 or 6 times a day it is getting annoying, I tried to answer one time and then they hung up...

Who are these people????

Just received a call from 1-866-757-1812 My caller ID said Angus Reid G.I usually don't answer calls I don't recognize so I am not sure why I picked it up, but when I did and said hello, it was just nothing, no person, or computer, nothing, so I hun-up.

I'm registered with the "do not call list" and I don't know if this is a number I can report or not.
