No message, "800 SERVICE"

Voicemail only caught the last couple of seconds of the message from the robocaller. What I heard was, "'bout your free energy inspection. Please, press two to be removed from our client list." CallerId was just a repeat of the phone number.

They just called again, but this time no message.

Robocall (illegal in this state even if you are not on the do not call list) on behalf of P. G. & E. (otherwise known as Parasite
Gas and Electric) and a third party associate (presumable the clowns talking) announcing the fact that due to higher year over
year energy prices PG&E and this caller are in a position to offer me overall reduced energy costs by dumping my old inefficient
electric or gas appliances and buy new energy efficient  ones.  All I had to do was to gather up all my old appliances and give them a call for ways to reduce my energy costs - or words to that effect.  Deleted message as soon as I heard it but since this
appears to be a relatively new number for them it needed to be reported here.

Hung up when answering machine picked up.

What a crummy POS that has called over sixty times.  It's PUC and PG&E teaming up to put the illegals to work praying on the hard working middle class to fundamentally change our lives to suit their idea of how we should exist, eat, sleep, keep warm, and stay strong in order to continue paying the bill to employ the new arrivals who can't even speak our language.  I pay AT&T $90.00 p/month for one basic phone so these bottom feeders can invade what peace I have left in this sickening liberal state of CA.  What we had is slowly slipping away.  A nudge here, a nudge there, it's so subtle you almost don't know it's happening.  If we fail to organize and put an end to this socialist takeover we will have no one to blame but ourselves.

Not to ruin a good rant, but these calls are being made by criminals if you're on the Do Not Call registry.  It's not the state nor Pacific Graft and Extortion.  No liberal bias to ruin your day, just the facts.

I did a call back to this number and got a recorded message "Welcome to Access to Care Transportation", not PG&E.

Seems like the crook calling is not only illegally spoofing the number, falsely identifying the source but also violating the DNC registry and the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.

I've given up on reporting call violations to the FTC, over the years nothing has ever been done to put an end to telemarketing calls that I've reported.

Rang once, and disconnected. I was reaching over to play the recording " Da- Da- Da tone---this number is no longer in service" . But they didn't hang on long enough.

But understand that these are not "telemarketing calls," they're scam calls from criminals from overseas, where US regulations and laws don't apply. You are absolutely right about the "crook" calling who is spoofing the number and source. This is not a legitimate business member: those are the ones who are honoring your request not to be called.

If you get calls from one of those legitimate businesses, you are well advised to report them for the violation. For the rest, the crooks, not answering, NOT calling back and blocking the numbers is the only way to keep your sanity.

You are correct, the call is not from a telemarketer. The choices of call type do not adequately describe this type call; I feel telemarketer is the closest category where it can be placed.

Caller-ID: "Toll Free Caller"

I received a call from this number at 1:55 pm PST.  I did not answer based on other posts.  As my vm is full from all these telemarketer calls the phone just kept ringing with no way to leave a message.  CID said Toll Free Calle.  Most of these calls are from "energy" companies by many names and numbers and all are robo called.

robo caller with stupid assinine recorder message buy cheap electric recording looking for mentally disabled people who might believe that someone would call from PGE or wherever and give you a recording and ask for money. Never believe anything a stranger tells you over the phone.

This caller has been making numerous harassing calls. They have been bugging me for a long time.
They also trespassed into our yard.
And they called pretending to be an energy co. They make these calls on a very frequent basis. Then they called this morning, but when I called back it wasn't an energy company.
It said Access to CARE.

They are trying to harm me now.

Recorded message.  "Due to the rising cost of energy ...".  I guess they haven't heard that the price of oil has dropped by 50%.

Telemarketer call

The company that this number belongs to did not actually make the call. Someone has gotten the number of Access to Care Transportation and makes it look like they are calling. 800 Service shows up on call id. I called this number and found out that they are investigating. They have received many calls regarding this. if you haven't called for transportation for medical care don't answer this call

"CARE" is what I believe (if I remember right) PGE calls their energy program for low income households. You pay lower rates if you make less than the threshold for qualification for the program. They actually put us on it once even after I told them two times that we did not qualify (we made way too much money).

A few months later I was looking over my PGE bill because I was wondering why it was so low and I saw the a line that said "CARE". I had to call PGE and cancel this. I have no idea why I was put on the program. I had two callers months before both whom I told we made far too much money to qualify. Perhaps the callers get a bonus for each person they sign up? Just an FYI from our strange experience with PGE and something called "CARE".
