Okay they don't stop I called the do not call hot line and reported them.
(Now I want to see them face to face)

I am sick of them calling.  They call at least 3 times a day and hang up every time.  Who are they and what do they want.

they keep calling me and like everyone else said there is no way to get it stopped however i did find out that the more people that report this phone number to the FTC by calling 18883821222 then the more likely it will be that the FTC takes action against the company

please make sure you are registered on the Do not call list the phone number is 18883821222 you register and if any call come in like this 31 days after you have been registered you can call the number and file a complaint. Draw Back is if you are not on the list you cant file a complaint

everyone that is registered on the do not call list please report this phone number the FTC can find out who it belongs to and stop the company.

trying to figur these people out along with private calls i get it computer to see if you pick up . then they tell me wait or call back.it pain in the butt. i stop answering those numbers you think they get the hit. private calls are prob flatiron known as peak 5 thinking goinfg postal on them. don't ever get a car loan threw them they make nuts

I received calls from several toll-free #s stating that I applied for a car loan. I don't know where they are getting this information. I am worried that a scam is going on.

These [***], need to quick calling my house.  I am done running for the phone at 8:45 pm in the middle of a movie and it's these [***] again!!! Quick calling and hanging up on me.  If you call, you better speak to me so I can give a ear full!!

They keep calling and it is well before 8 am pacific time like 7:30 am my time.  It is annoying and I want them to quit calling.

OK now it's 3 different numbers these son's of britches use 866-710-8746, 800-511-8967, and 866-575-6740. Is there no stopping these POS's? I reported them and called them and told them to quit calling and nothing has an effect on them..................I feel sorry for any person who actually does business with these idiots.

I keep getting calls from these people too.  Its weird, my cell phone will ring and I know its them.  I've answered the calls a few times and each time when I answer, my phone starts calling them.  Some foreign guy answered the phone and said I had applied for a car loan.  I never applied for a car loan and am no need of a car!  I'm not sure what kind of set up they have but it is most certainly a scam.  I've told them more than once to quit calling me.  And I thought I was on the no call list....I just put my number back on in case it was off for some reason.  I wish there was more to do to get the b*st*rds back!  I feel sorry for anyone who really did apply for a car loan and gave these frauds information.

Just received a call and called back all it said I was preselected, these guys need to get reported

Received a call from 866-575-6740, no message was left, and I do not answer calls that I do not recognize.  After reading the entries, I have been enlightened on the type of call.  Thanks for the information and the Do Not Call number.  I will report the number if they continue to call my cell phone.

I received a call from this # also, but did not answer. I then called the # back and a recording said that it was the Cash Advance Pre-Selection Hotline, and that if you receive a call from this #, you have been "Pre-Selected" for either a cash advance up to $1,500 or an auto loan. It then gives you the option of pressing 1 to have your # removed from their data base, or 2 to apply. I pressed #1 and I guess I will have to see if they will really remove my phone from their list.

Under The Telephone Consumer Protection Act of 1991 and The Telemarketing and Consumer Fraud and Abuse Protection Act of 1994, they will be heavily fined (up to $11,000) and issued a point on their license. Enough points and they face suspension or revocation of their license to operate over American telephone lines.

They have called numerous times on my business line and when I pick up, they hang up.  NOw, they have changed and are calling my home telephone number.  When I picked up twice today, I asked them to take me off their list (it is the same guys voice using two different company names).  He told me that he couldn't and was not going too and I was going to listen to him.  when he said the first time he was with the US Federal Department - I asked him his name and number and he was like you are writing this down and then he hung up.  Auto loan - I told him where to go and he told it to me back and hung up.

I have received several calls from this number also.  But I have a feature on my phone which does most telephone companys, where you can block the number and they can can not call through.  It is called call screen.  For example, on my phone, you press *60 and you can add numbers, or just block the last number that called, and as long as the feature is turned on, the numbers can not come through.

you can call your local service provider and have them block it... they have to do it as long as you have the number

I recieved a cll from 866-575-6740 also stating they were a cash advance and car loan company. I removed them from my list and they keep calling my cell.It was all a recording , no-one actually spoke.I pressed 1 to have my name removed and they just continue to anoy me . Good luck to everyone they are a pain.
