Got a call saying it was to discuss federal student loan repayment. They gave me a student code and told me to call back.

I received the same call

Same phone same content.

Same call as well. However, did not say which institution she was calling from.

Received a call just now talking about paying back student loans. I don’t have debt.

Call about a student loan...I have several. Wouldn’t say what organization they are with.

Said: “ Yes this is Patricia I'm calling in reference to your federal student loan um I need to discuss your repayment options with some changes _ _⁠_⁠_⁠_ taken affect recently so if you would be sure _⁠_ just give me a call back my number is 866-575-8244 and I'm gonna go and give you a student code if you would just be sure to have _⁠_⁠_⁠_ _⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_ when you call back it makes things a lot easier your student code is 2484 thank you…”

Same call verbatim. Same exact student code. My phone recognizes it as a spam risk immediately and sent it to voicemail.

Same call verbatim. Rang once then cut off and had voicemail. Never said my name and my phone registered as likely spam. The calling phone number was ‭+1 (262) 393-5003‬.

Same call as the others, identical student code. Clearly spam. Phone marked as spam and sent to VM.

Patricia just called me, same message, same student code. This woman needs to be stopped.

Call received 5/26/20 from Patricia - same Federal Student loan above and same code 2484. I blocked it.

Yes. I literally just got this call. No one from the Federal Government will call you for any reason. I'm glad I googled this first.

Same call for student loans, did not list the institution or anything other than the number and "student reference number" to call back.

I just called them back and ask the agent what was the name of the company twice and he said student services and I replied that the company doesn’t come out on google and he hung up.

I received the exact same script! And alert is on that we all have the same code?  I called 866-575-8244 to see what would happen phone ring once followed by a busy tone. Glad I google the number and found this thread.

When I told them I didn't have a student loan and could they tell me who they were looking for they hung up on me. I called back and I said the same thing but this guy said I will remove your number and hung up.
