also got a call from this same number, and they said it had to do with company benefits and left "code number" to use when i call back.   as if.

Received a call stating they were Blue Cross Health Net, left a number and code to call back - when we called backed message said to enter a code - when entered said we entered wrong code.

It's just an add for BCBS's Healthy Blue program.  I think the  866 575 8291 number is Alear, a sort of service for this kind of ad campaign

I received a flurry of calls from "Alere Medical" as a courtesy of my employer.  Yeah.  Right.  And, a plague on management's and HR's home, too.  Interestingly, though, none of the Alere web site phone numbers associate themselves with the number that was left in the message.  Looks like a telemarketer scam to me.  I'll continue to ignore the incoming deluge of calls from 775-398-3484 advising to call 866-575-8291 "and enter your personal message code of xxxxxx".  Fugg 'em and feed 'em fish heads.

This is a follow-up automated service from BCBS's Healthy Outcomes...in my husband's case, in NC.  Post-hospital information, call to the home provides a pin number for a personalized message on call-back.  Yes, somewhat annoying.
