Got a call from this number, I live in NL canada (isolated province) strange to see a number as such calling and a similar response on the internet as to what happened to me.
Got a call -> answered -> hello? -> Hello? -> *I Was about to say "is this my captain speaking?"* and they hang up before I get a word out. I've gotten quite a few calls like this at my home address.

I got the same call... on my newfoundland Cell phone... all i wonder is how much is it goning to cost me to answer these calls

I received a call on my cell (Newfoundland) from this number at 10:30 AM, April 04, 2012.  In my case, there was no comunication at all and the phone line went dead after I repeated "Hello" several times!

Also an unknown number on my cell and then dead line as soon as I answered. Its happened a couple of times. I'm in Calgary

Just had a conversation with Bell Canada operator, she told me that it can't give us the city or location being an 800-866 number comming from anywhere in North America. It's telemarketing b..ll...t.

I live in New Brunswick, and I received a call from this number on my cell phone, also. When I say hello, there is a beep, then silence

Same deal. Called and didn't say anything. I'm in toronto ontario

Just received a call from this number and same deal as all the above, no response when I said hello

I keep getting this number calling me with no one responding when I say hello. I don't give them much of a chance though as I hang up or just leave the phone off the hook for a while when no one responds immediately. This has to be one of the most irritating forms of harassment and our elected officials do nothing about it. So much for the do not call list I have been on it for years and the telemarketers keep calling.

I missed the call, but i keep getting a busy signal when I call it back.
Googled the number and found this list.
Damn, not publishers clearing house wondering why i don't answer my door either . :)

Got it in Alberta today also, its a telemarketer saying I won a cruise,( If I could have a cruise every time I was told I won a cruise!)  I hung up.

Same number, no answer. busy line when called back.

The same number just called my house. i live in newfoundland. i said hello a few times and they hung uo on me . and when i called back the number it was busy. so werid ?

Just received a call to my house just 5mins ago. I live in Toronto.  It was a automated message from Downtown Acura Dealer about a special pricing event this weekend.  

I'm guessing it's a gateway for telemarketers and robo-callers.

same thing...they called ...you answer...nothing said....really pisses me off ..i from ft mcmurray,alberta
