Appears to be some sort of scam? Phish for information? I called my Health Plan Blue Cross and the representative knew nothing about them.

Apparently it is Blue Cross offering single-source member contact with a nurse that acts as a coach on helping with disease management, personal health goals and such things as weight loss, smoking cessation, prescription management, etc.  MyHealthCoach.com

Keep calling and leaving messages that I don't want; how can I stop them?

Caller from this number identifies herself as a nurse and asks for personal information. I have no apparent way of verifying that it's legitimately from Blue Cross. I have seen no "official" verification that this number is legitimate.

left a message for my hubby about his health care coverage.  Didn't know that it is me who carries our insurance.  hmmm-just getting names and calling!

They just call several times a day, when ever I answer they never come on the line. I don't have BC BS insurance so that could not be it.

Continues to call about a health benefit offered.

I get calls from this number often. What insurance does this plan belong to? Is it reliable to give information for the questions they ask. Is this really beneficial?

I called this number because I am a medical biller and I can regognize legitimate or illegitimate insurance saled calls based on who they say they are and what they are offereing.  This number is a Blue Cross number that is used to inform Blue cross clients of benefits they already have on their pilocies, but might not be aware of.  It's not really a scam, but they did try to sell me (and my daughter) a higher level of cvoverage than I had, or actually needed.

They say this is from my Anthem insurance and it is called My Health Coach.  The number was 866-577-9443 Ext 41141.  They are clearly trying to get information and they are a COMPLETE SCAM!!!!!

I'm a pretty skeptical guy and I own a small healthcare company so I was curious about this phone message.  A quick google search lead me to a web page on Anthem's website that does indeed provide free access to a nurse and/ or "Myhealth coach".  Just google "anthem myhealth coach". This is a perfectly legitimate service that unfortunately suffers from terrible messaging. It looks like you can safely register on Anthem's website and use the service from there.

I had recently received a phone call from this number, they left a message and I returned the phone call. I was nervous at first because the representative didn't know why they called me in the first place. I asked if I was scheduled for an MRI. I'm not. Then she went into the speal of being an extra health care service provided by my health insurance. I will be calling my actual insurance to see if it is legit.

This healthcare nurse program has been calling on and off for two months claiming they are part of the healthcare management team for BCBS. No one in the family has BCBS insurance so don't know why the keep calling. They have left messges to call back, and I did, only to get an automated recording saying to call back within normal business hours. It was in normal business hours when I called, so what gives?

Okay, so I got that a little wrong. They don't claim to be from BCBS. The messages says they are a benefit part of my healthcare insurance provider. I called my daughter and she was with BCBS, but in January 2014 she had to give up her policy due to the premium increase. It went up 21% and now she can't afford it. She doesn't know what she's going to do because she hasn't got a job now either. Looks like this benefit program may have been part of her old insurance's new management care policies, but we'll never know. I had told them to stop calling here because my insurance company doesn't have this benefit either.
