They call and say hold for next available operator.  They call every day or two but I haven't answered.  Anybody know who they are?

I have been called two times by these "people" I ask them straight out to identify themselves and the reason for calling. I never have been able to get a reasonable answer.
I have received the same call as you, from an answering machine. But also from the same number I have received calls from a real person who refuses to identify themselves or reason for calling.
I am pretty certain it is some sales nonsense.
Good to know someone else has had a similar experience.
