This is a collection agency with apparently a less-than-stellar reputation (Google them and you'll see).  They call us all the time regarding what Suntrust considers an outstanding debt, but according to our credit report, we're paid in full with them.  They've called at least 50 times in the last six months, but we never answer.  Only twice have they left recorded messages asking us to call back in regard to 'a serious financial matter'.

I have a similar experience with this company.  I wonder why reputable financial institutions - Wells Fargo in my case would an unprofessional collection agency such as this.

This company calls my place of employment an average of 5 times per day.  They leave recorded messages asking us to call back in regard to 'a serious financial matter.  It would seem that these individuals would have some concept of the Fair Debt Collection Act, especially paragraph 806.

They call all day long and all I get when I answered is a recorded voice.  Now I don't answer.  I don't know why companies think that people are going to respond to a recording, or hold for a recording.  Why waste their time and my cell phone minutes?

In my case, I have no idea who these people even think they are calling.  I just got my new phone number and the calls are escalating.  There is also the Graham-Leach-Bliley Act which strictly prohibits leaving a message and referencing an unpaid debt.  If I had more time, I would seriously think we should all file a class action lawsuit against them.  They would have to at least pay us each 1,000.00 and possibly, in the case where the persons employment is called, punitive damages, quite possibly, significant damages.
