This seems to be Wells Fargo.... they do loan (mortgage) servicing for Americas Servicing Company among others.  If you got a call from them then there is a flag on your mortgage account, like you didn't pay by midnight of the 15th or somethinglike that.

I could not verify that it was Wells Fargo, but they had way more info on me and the mortgage, and the payments in the past than i had on me, so if they were stealing my $, they did it without my help....    I now have to watch that I did get hit with the interst late fee becasue they said I had punched in the 19th for the pay date, but I know I had done the 15th... that i could swear by... they seemed to recognize the error.  They seem to be more on the ball than the prior servicer of the ASC loans.
