Got a call from my brother today stating that a process server called and said that I needed to contact them about a summons or subpoena to court.  The caller stated that he had been to my house on Monday (a lie, because my son was home) and that he was trying to keep from delivering it to my job.  He also stated that he could not give any of his information because he was only a process server.  What really got my attention is 1) the number he called was my mother's number...a new number that I haven't even programmed in my cell phone yet, so I know I didn't give it to anyone as a reference; and 2) a process server would not call...they are paid to actually deliver the summons!  I googled the name of the company and found scam reports, no company information though.  Most of the reports were on this site but under a different number.  Glad I've got common sense!
