866-596-7664

Received a call from this number, when I answered I could hear background noise but no one would answer me. After about ten seconds they hung up.

This number belongs to Credit Union West, It's used by their re-finance dept.

Just got another call from 866-596-7664, & did my usual - pick up the phone, then hang up.  Thought I'd call it back to get off the list.  It answered "Credit Union West" & was told to hold for a rep.  After about 3 - 4 mins, it just said to leave a message.  Without giving my ph # (which shows up blocked) I told them I was tired of phone calls & too bad they don't have people to answer the phones.  
I'll try again during the week & see if I can't catch someone.  We have bank accounts with them, that's it.  House is paid for, so no reason for them to bug us.

I received a call from this number  at 7:06 pm with an offer to refinance my auto. They said they were from Credit Union West.
After answering some of their questions, I realized that the CU should already have this info on my existing loan.  I said I would call the CU in the morn and finish the app. and hung up.    I called the CU the next morn and they said they don't do that and by the way they close at 6 pm.    Just another scam,  hope I didn't give them too much info.

I have a prerecorded message from the phone warning solicitors not to call me if soliciting.  I am an older woman and receiving a call after 8 pm sounded fishy to say the least.  I questioned the man who claimed his name was Michael Siller from Credit union West and he wanted me to be aware of all the advantages that Credit Union West had to offer and that I could have a debit card for no charge.  

I got two different phone numbers 866 596 4100 AND 866 596 7664.  I TOLD him he sounded like he was calling from a soliciting room and he said he was calling from a phone center.  I asked where he was calling from and he did not want to tell me at first he kept saying a phone center for Credit Union West, then finally after asking what state he responded with Illinois.  I told him this was fishy and if I wanted to get any information I would visit Credit Union West and that I did not want to be contacted again and he was disregarding the recording on my phone stating no solicitors were to call and to press 1 only if this was a personal call.  

I am contacting the AG office in regard to this solicitation is bogus and I am on a DO NOT CALL LIST in addition to having the phone company have the recorded warning message.  I hope this is traced and the company fined as it clearly is a scam.

My husband got a call asking if we wanted to accept a preapproved credit card from them.  I called Credit Union West directly via the number on my statement and they confirmed it was legit.  If more comfortable you can call CUW and main number and they can xfer to whatever department u need.
