Received voicemail about student loan debt. It's a scam. I paid for college in cash 30 years ago, so. Scum. Stated they were from Student Loan Division. But pretty funny, hidden caller ID, and never say what Student Loan Division. 🙄

Student loan bullcrap supposedly out of Georgia (first called with a 470 area code).

Just missed a call from a person named Sean. He left a scripted message saying he was from the Student Loan Division and he wanted to help me find a permanent solution for my student loans. Mentioned something about "forbearance."  Called ID was 435-447-4887, but requested to call back this # 866-597-2660.

She stated she was calling on behalf of student loan division regarding my "forbearance" being up soon so call so she can help me at 866-597-2660.

caller ID is for 435 337-4980, and callback is 866-597-2660, same BS as above "student loan division" etc.  I have no loans.

It sounded like the person was driving when they called me. Said his name was Shawn and the number calling was from 1-900-999-9999, but asked to call 866-597-2660.

Received a call from +1(573)400-4931 with a voice message on my cell phone. The message said they could help me with my student loan payments. I never had any. Told me to call 866-597-2660 for help with my payments. Obvious SCAM !

“Hey this is Sarah over at the student loan division I know your loans are currently on a temporary for parents and on hold but keep in mind that one so there is listed you're gonna have to go back to paying your student loan payments just as normal now keep in mind if you're interested in a more permanent solution we could assist you with getting those documents prepared and submitted over _⁠_⁠_⁠_ in time for a nap for _⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_ is over go ahead and give us a call if you can reach me at 866-597-2660 going to be _⁠_ and we're going to be in the office till about 5 PM Pacific standard time again that number is 866-597-2660 thank you…”

Rc'd v/m on cel ph,  female voice Chrystal,  call about some BS, loan, and call the 866 number that others have listed here. Amazing when the scammers call, the number never showed up on my cel ph. Hope the law passed by government, to fine these idiots, comes true, that's if they can find them.

Same loan forbearance collection scam on 6/15 on my cell leaving a VM  but I  thought the pre-recorded female , Adrian, was referring to a home loan.  Being a nosy trial lawyer, without  either a mortgage or student loan , I started a call back and then canceled  to block it on my I-phone and it went to a VM for "Matt".  I then texted a note that the next scam call I got from them would be met by a suit under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (dead serious about that btw).  Then blocked both numbers.  Note-the call comes initially from a spoofed number and in my case it was Jacksonville, FL area at Orange Park, FL at 904-932-1927.  The call back number that the scammer girl recording leaves is the one that is the subject of this post.
