Unfortunately they're my mortgage company. I have my payments automatically scheduled and I still get calls. Every time I do answer they say the same thing, "oh it's marked on your account that you have a payment scheduled for the 1st of the month. Would you like to make a payment now?" Incredible. I can't wait to refinance.

Agree with most comments on here.  I have never been late on my mortgage and today is the 6th.  Made my payment on the 3rd and am still receiving a call!! SMH

Keeps calling, finally left a robo message.  Says it's Penny Mac and claims to be my mortgage company.  I just checked with my mortgage company and my loan has not been transferred so likely a scam.  Originally called from 800-777-4001 but message said to call 866-599-3409.

Says it is my mortage company regarding my account. I know everything ok. Scam. Says to call back 866 599 3409.

voicemail from recorded message saying they are calling to discuss my account. This is Pennymac who bought my mortgage loan before my first payment was even due. If you have an account with them this is their number.

honestly we as the homebuyers should be able to say who we will not allow to buy our mortage especially if you have heard bad things about them or if you have had a bad experience with them previously. I closed and before my first payment was due with my lender I got a notice that it was being transferred to Penny Mac I never even made a payment with the original people. Crazy how they do this..I guess that's how they keep getting money to lend..sell the mortgages to others..but still we should have a choice. If we can choose a bank etc we should be able to choose this.

They left a message to call back at this number, which is NOT on any of the loan statements. I feel they are pretending to be PennyMac.

I have been getting automated calls, at my job, from this number at least 3x week, for approx 9 months. I do not have a loan with Penny Mac. I have called back and emailed them, to take my company's phone number off the call list. It still happens.

Be careful. I've gotten calls from here that claim to be PennyMac Mortgage Company. Had some rude voicemails. Instead of calling this number back I called the number I have for PennyMac and was told it was definitely not them calling. The scary part is if you look up the number it'll even come up as PennyMac on one sight.

They are. I have contacted PennyMac instead of returning this call. PennyMac told me to block it.

Representative Brandy identified this number as part of the debt collection division of PennyMac Mortgage Company.

Who is "Representative Brandy" and why did that person have to identify what this call was about?

Calls from this number every single day - I know it’s a scam because I don’t have a mortgage. Just hang up.

A robocall from UN-known  - claims to be from penny mac loans - a scam as I do not have any loans with anyone - A search shows this number to be a toll free number. They keep calling after being told to remove my number from their call list and blocked.

I had just settled a mortgage matter when I was called from this number.  The guy was very suspicious.  I never refinanced with them.  The company I purchased my home from sold my loan to Pennymac.
