This is legit. It was my credit union calling because iTunes was trying to authorize my debit card information.

This is a legitimate number for Visa Fraud Services. The automated service gave me my transactions and asked me to verify them with the push of a button. Never asked for my card number. I also spoke to a rep, after being on hold for 20 minutes, that provided additional details on the transactions that I made. Lastly they lifted the hold on my account. Typical overseas outsourced card center. If this was a scam it would have been one of the most elaborate ones I have ever come across in 25 years of law enforcement.

I actually tried the number and it went through to AT&T.  I did not go as far as the menu to give my information.  I did go on to my AZ Federal account and checked my recent purchases.  I found nothing that I did not recently make that was unauthorized.  I also went one step further and reported the number to AZ Federal Credit Union as I figured out it was most likely a way to get my personal information.

I got 18 calls from these jerks in 3 days. I called them back using *67 on my cell and got a recording stating that they were checking up on some "unusual" charges on my AZFCU Visa card AND (GET THIS!!!) to leave message with either some reference # left on my voice mail OR MY VISA CARD NUMBER & they will call me back!!!!!! I'm thinkin "for what??? My SS #?? DOB??? First born???" For one thing, I'm an over the road truck driver with cooky purchases all over the place & most of all...Who in the F**k leaves their credit card number on some strange answering service???? I wish they'd find these creepy knuckle dragging a**holes and let the people who have had their CC #'S stolen take them for a "Ride to Ajo".

Some of the comments above say this is legit. Maybe its you calling.  I think anyone is stupid if you leave a message with your name & CC#  and wait for a call back...WTF!  AND the bank would be stupid to ask you to do so. If this was really ANY legit bank fraud rep...Well then its time to change banks. They don't need my business..

I received 3 (4?) calls over the weekend (from 866-599-5619 and 866-599-5617)  concerning suspicious activity on my Visa account.  They called my unlisted number that my credit union has for such calls.  The last four digits of my card were given.  The card in question had been blocked several months earlier.  When I called back, the automated answer recording asked for my zip code.  I hung up.

Things that I found odd were that the entity was the Northwest Regional Federal Credit Union; that is not my credit union, nor do I live in the northwest.

On Monday called back and hit zero three times (it takes three times) to break through the automation. I spoke with a woman whose attempt at speaking English was nearly undecipherable.  She was able to give me the number of their main office: 800-942-9408.

I called the main office, which seemed legitimate enough.  They have no records of me nor my phone numbers. They did verify the numbers that called me as an outfit that works for them. Something apparently got tangled up on the back end.

This # is legitimate. I listened to the voicemail, but did not call them back. Instead I called my bank. They verified the # and transferred me to their Visa fraud protection. I would not normally even post here if I was not 100% sure of the legitimacy of this number. If your not sure, just call your bank like I did.

Visa Fraud Services for your bank. It's legit.  They have to verify recent transactions on your card that get flagged for fraud.

I received a call message from 866-599-5619 claiming they were Visa Fraud Dept of AZ Financial Credit Union and that I had suspicious charges on my account and I was to give them a call back. I later called the number on the back of the Visa card. They asked me what phone # called me and they didn't recognize it. However, I was told there were a series of recent charges on my account. None were accepted. I didn't recognize any of the payees' names. My card was blocked.

No joke on me because neither I nor anyone on this website really care if you have a Visa or not.  Now if you seriously think that you are communicating with your callers by posting here the joke is actually on you.
